Stitching and sewing

First Noah is sitting on gymnastics since a couple of weeks, and every time I forgot my camera, but last Saterday I finally brought it with me: Look at the cute boy...Next year the classes are starting again.

The birthsampler is progressing slowly, but look behind the tree!! Because of the large project I'm working on, Yes for me a sampler, the Lizzie kate SAL and the Halloween SAL are large projects, so now and then it's fun to stitch something small.
Last week Sharon from Daffycat, made a beautifull freebie. And I stitched it up in a hour, it's so fun to stitch, so pick up your needles and stitch it too!!! This weekend I gave the Overalls to my nephews, and they loved it, and the mother and fathers too!!
Look at how they look like:



The first one is for my Godchild Adam, his father just started his own veterinary practice, what's more fun the walk with the logo of your father practice on your back while playing and helping.
In de middle is the one for Noah.
To the right is the one for Mika, last year I made him a Bob the Builder jumpsuit, but it's to smaal to cute off the Bob and sewed it on this new Overall.
I'm so glad they are being liked, It was very fun for me too make.

Then I promised you a picture of Noah's car play mat. It's going the good way.
I only hope I can finish it on time before next Sunday
As you look good you can see Noah is already playing on it!!!
You can see the roads and railroad, maybe a new piece of road is coming but don't now yet, First need to finish the railroad!!

I have stitched again and finished something!!!

Have you seen the new photo above... Noah with three Zwarte Pieten, Noah is afraid of them, see his lip..But he was brave enough to go on the picture with them...

This week I have been able to stitch again, and have made a progress on two pieces.
And one pieces is finally finished!!!!
Yes the Halloween Sal from Helga Mandl is finished...I love it and next year I wanne try to make a pillow of it..

I so love how the outcome is on my self dryed fabric!!!

The next progress is on the birtsamplerThe next one is coming out... more I hope in my next post.

Then my sewing pieces
The other two Overall are progressing wel On the back of both overalls is a surprise but I can't show it yet
My lockmachine is broken, but I can still work with it, last night the repairman should have come to pick it up, but he never came.....so when I do a bit slower and by hand on the side it's getting there. I hope I can finish them today.
So I can start on Noah his Sinterklaas gift.. I wanne make it by my self.
I'm going to try to make something like this.
And make our village in small, and it show's where Noah's school is and where his family and friends live... But I hope I can make it. So wait and see.......

No stitching update's But...

I still have some things to show.
This week I wasn't able to stitch, but I can't sit still, so tried my other crafts.
A few post back I showed you the overall that I was making for Noah, last week I was stuck because of the market went away urly because of the storm, but this week I bought the stuff I missed.
So here it is finished and way to BIG!!!!!:

You can see it's to big, but so I don't have to make another one next year!!
Today I started on the overall for Mika, the upper piece is almost done.

I also tried some more Sinterklaas felt craft, first made a second Pepernoten wreath and put it in a tray. When I was reading some blogs I saw this beautifull wreath, I was very inspired so made this for start: The also where candy in the tray but it didn't survive with Noah and DH (and me...)

Made it al out of my hand, trying and trying and if I looks like something then stop!!! In the gift I put cardboard this was also a tip from Corina (the link), I love how it looks.
And I made these TrapezePietjes:

Wanne try to make some more Sinterklaas Felt craft..

Last week my newest nephew where baptized, in the morning my SIL asked us to come urly to go to a inside children playground. My godchild and Noah has so much fun!!

At the moment we are in a sticker mood, Noah is going to the toilet every day and when he does something on it he gets a sticker. Monday we started (we have been trying more, but when he don't wanted anymore we quit) again with peeing, no diaper during the day. From monday till today we where to late for 3 times, the rest al on the toilet. I'm so proud om my babyboy!!!

This morning we to the gym with Noah for the second time... darn forgot my camera again!!!
This afternoon Sinterklaas came to our village, so we went to look.
Two Pieten where looking for Sinterklaas they could not find him, so al the kids of the village went with the Pieten to look for Sinterklaas.. and yes after a while we found him.. he was still sleeping, he almost forgot us. We all whent to the townhouse and celebrated with him. Noah was very afraid of the Pieten and Sinterklaas, he loved looking at them from a distance, but when we got close, he tured his head. In the townhouse he crawled under the chairs...hihi. and then we went home

Noah isn't a child who loves sitting stil so ....

Sinterklaas is not gone yet so maybe we see hem again before he goes home on the 6th of December

updates and Sinterklaas

I have 2 small progress update's of the stitching pieces.
Yesterday I visited a colleague, and her little boy is 3 months now, and a very very big boy.
I made him this ball, his babyroom is purple, so also the ball is: This is the last photo with the fall decoration, it's now gone all and the Sinterklaas decoration coming in place..
Here a few pictures: I made a ball and glue all pepernoten and sweet candy on it

Pepernoten are a tradition with Sinterklaas, the Zwarte (black) pieten have a bag with them, full off pepernoten, and give them to all the kids

So I'm going to make a end of this post, in a half hour Sinterklaas is coming to the Netherlands, This is every year a big happening, and on the television.
When I was a little girl I so liked to watch it and I still do, this year they are coming in Harderwijk

SAL's and mystery sampler, and some other stuff!!!

Hi all, sorry it has been so long, Noah bit the baterry of the camera, and it was broken and we all had a big cold, but we bought a new one and got a bit better, and here I am again.
Not much stitching done, but here I have a few updates:
First the Lizzie Kate SAL stamp of July:It's almost finished, but I run out of a color so need to order it.

Then I have been stitching a bit on the Halloween piece, I got it a day or what for Halloween, and I know I could not finish it on time so, Im taking it easy to finish it for next year (but hope it will finish before the end of the year!!!)
It's such a lovely piece to stitch.. And then my mystery piece:I will reveal that this piece is going to be the birth sampler for my baby!!
And as you can see Tigger and Pooh are on it, but more will come, but that's still a suprise!!

I also have been sewing a bit.
The overall I made last year '(go look at the cute photo's of little Noah on that link )for Noah is much to small, so now I'm making a very big one, hopefully I don't have to make one the next 2 year. Because Noah has red boots I sewed it with red threads and put on red on the end of the sleeves and pipes.
Here's a little detail Thursday I need to go to the market to buy 3 zipper, 3 yes 3, because I wanne make 2 more for my nephews, so can't get a cold any more...hihi

Also this week I wanne set up a new big project what is going to be a gift for Noah for Sinterklaas.
But more over the project soon!!

About Sinterklaas, It's the next holiday we have here, and it's on the 5th of December. (when you klick on Sinterklaas you get to a link about it in English)
Last year I wasn't in the mood for Sinterklaas craft, so need to gets it up now!!
Here is what I made this evening: I'm maing ot for on Noah's window, so teh fall craft can come off!!
