The end on the month and got a package

Happy Leap Day to you all..

The last day of the month, so time to look at my goals... at the end of the post also a surprise that I got.
Let see what my goals where:
1. Make many hearts in diffents crafts
2. Stitch and finish a snowdrop
3. Do some stitched on Panda Days
4. Finish off Noah's blue owl.
5. Crochet a Xmas ball

For the first one.. I forgot to take a picture I see now, and its already to dark..
But I have crochet some hearts in dífferent cottons, there are in my braches above the table...
Need to get them out for the next decoration this week, so I will try and remember to take a picture then.

For point 2, I need to finish the snowdrop... DONE!!!!
And because I love the snowdrops.. March will be my snowdrop month for now.
I'm making snowdrops out of felt..
Not a easy job, because it's so little, but it looks so cute.
I already finished two, here you can see them

Do some stitches on Panda Day's ...hihihi...
I FINISHED that one..lol :PI'm still so glad with it. And from all your comments to see you did to..

Noah's blue owl...
I can tell it's beautifull...
Noah was thinking something else, when I finished it and gave it to him, the first thing he said to me was.. mommy make a new one with wings ....=)))))))))
Isn't he the CUTESTTTTTTT ;P
DH isn't in to owls, but even he liked it.. so I'm glad..
He is sitting so cute on Noah's bed, waiting for a BIG friend.. a plan I have in my mind for a long time... wait and see..
Make a crochet Christmas ball...
That isn't hard there are so many freebies of that.
Just picked one out and started
It's a bit small but I like the outcome.
It's fun and easy to make.. in the next months will make more of these

Then came the month March.. what will we do with it.. Because Easter is in end of the first week of April I will use march to make Easter crafts... and will only make some snowdrops for March decoration..
So here goes:
1. Finish my felted snowdrops
2. Make a lot of Easter crafts...
3. Finish Noah's memoboard
So only three for this month.. I have so many other things to do too...

For the Easter craft..... I already started with a stitching piece.
A beautifull Biscornu from Barbara Ana ..=)))
I really really love the colors that I'm using for it..
Only DMC 4124 I don't have so will use....... I think 741 for that.

More will come...

The fabric is my favorite evenwaeve, The needle I'm already using because I lost mine.. and it's my favorite needle,, it's a fire needle.. so hope it will burn for some time..lol..
The threads feel so soft, and the pattern is very clear.

Let's begin with the last stitches I needed to finishI so love these flowers and the color.
They give such a romantic feeling
I fell in love with the flowers, that's why I needed to stitch..
And off course the cute cute PandaHe is sitting there so cute with his best friend.
Love is in the air..
(it's still February =))))

It are so many, and so small. ;)
Only to bad you can't see them very good.
Just like the color green backstitches on the leaf and the grey on the branch.
But ow so beautifull is it all.

I so love it... It's going to hang in my hallway..
When you enter the front door that's the first thing you see..
But first need to frame it, and that needs to wait a little bit.
But what do you think a frame with glass or without glass???

so things....

So...
Here I'm again!!
With some things to show you girls..

Today is the birthday of a little girl, and after her mother saw my Hello Kitty felted name garland, she so wanted to have one for her daughter.
So I made one...They both are so glad with it.. I got a picture that it's hanging on there front window togheter with al other garlands

You remember the cute little snowdrop?
It was a pattern to finish it too a heart (no problem for me... I LOVE hearts)
So finished it off this week..
Not totally satisfield.. The heart is too small...
So I will restitch it one day..lol =)))))))))

Then I'm trying out my new hook needlesThe hook size is J (6.0mm) that's a new size for me...
It takes a bit off practisch... but I will see what I think of it when it's done :P
I wanne try and make a pillow off it for on my couch

At the moment it's Carnival here..
So also on Noah's school...
And me as Help-Mommy also needed to be dress-up...lol :))))We had so much fun...
I'm a big clown.. and Noah was Bumba....( a little clown)
For next year I need to make Noah something new.. this is his outfit for 2 years now... bad me...lol..

Happy Valentine's Day

I wanne thank you all for your lovely comments about Panda Day's, in my previous post.. Really means a lot to my!!

I will be honest.. last night I found out that today was Valentine's Day.. I'm so busy with making all beautifull things that I totally forgot about it...lol..
So I needed to find a quick pattern to make...
And who doesn't like the patterns of Barbara Ana... me me me me

I found this cute freebie, and finish it also last night
(can you see I'm right-handed, bit stitch left-handed.. crazy girl I am :P)

This morning Noah was at school and Kira was playing so sweet so took the time to finish it off in a little pillow..
So lovely!!!

WIP -> Panda Day's and ice-skating

Panda day's was calling and calling..

But to many things came in between..

Then I was tired of te calling :P

Finally I toke it and started again. ;P

It's such a pretty piece.. to bad I left it all along for so long =))

This is how It looked wen I put it away last year

And this is how far I was a few day's ago

I LOVE IT !!!!!

The colors are beautifull pastel, love how it's turning out with al those backstitching..

The only things that is to bad that you can's see all the back stitches..

Must of them are grey, french knots are grey, and a lot of cross stitches are grey.. on the eyes and feet you can't see what I all have done there, also some white back stitches..

The backstitches on all the leafs are green, it's almost the same color as the grey..

I can't wait how it turnes out when I finish the upper flowers.. only those are left..

I don't like to keep all the backstitches till the end, so already finish to for 2/3.

We still have cold, snow and ice...

Years ago as a teenager I iceskate everywhere.. now I'm a mom and I'm scared.. ;(

I saw so many pic's from friends on FB how there where ice-skating with there kids, I was so jealours.... but to afraid of falling in the ice..

After seeing pictures that 2 schools here had skated on a pond, then I know it save for me to..

So this morning got the ice-skates from Noah out of the closet and gave it a try..

We all love it.

So mad on my selfs that I didn't do that a week ago, then I could have done it every day.. Noah loved it so much..

Here you can see us skating.. even Kira..lol =)))))))))

DH and I don't have ice-skates (YET!!)we wanne buy some for next year..

This afternoon we had a little bit of new snow.. so great to watch with some hot cocoa from the inside.. really love watching that...

So maybe we will get more day's of skating!!

Cake's and Pie's

As I promissed.. a post full with yummy.. so if you are watching those calories, do not read any further...hihi

To start with the ones for Kira's birthday.. It was so great to make them al..
My sweet stepsister helped me, it was so great to do it together

As you can see 2 apple-pie's. In every party you need to have apple-pie..lol...
As you can see one fell apart.. to bad but still tasted so good.

And as always, what's a child birthday without a wipe-cream pie,

good for the wipe-cream picture..lol

And for the beautifull little girl I made a CUTEEEEE Hello Kitty Pie.

It was some work but I think it turned out great..

I made around pie, pinned a paper on it in the shape op hello Kitty,

then cute it out, decorated it and taadaa =))))))

I also wanted to make Hello Kitty cupcakes, I already had baked the cupcakes but no time to decorate them, so my stepsis did that, and look how beautifull she did :))))

And that not all what I made.

My FIL turned 60 2 weeks ago, he didn't celebrate it on his birthday, but later this year,

60 you only turns that ones, so as a suprise becase we weher coming I also baked a cake (together with the garland from my preview post)

They loved it... They are so glad with a baking DIL ;)))))))))))))))

Then almost 2 weeks ago, I had my anniversay at my job, I'm working there for 10 (TEN) years now.. so another oppertunity to bake a cake

WE only celebrate at 12,5, but I wanted to do it now..lol

That are all the cake's.. Hungry yet??

I am!!!

I also have done some stitching..

I finish my first finish of 2012 and my first goal of February.

Garland's and snow ;)

As promissed the garland's I made all last month.
To begin with this one in order.

This little boy turned 3 years a few days after KiraHis mother loved to have a blue one. I love how it turned out ;)

Then needed to made the ones for Kira.
First I wanted to do a pink and a red one.. but had to little red, so made a dark and light pink one.I stupidly forgot the made a photo when they still where hanging in the living.. But I think you get the picture how pink it was here.. and with a lot of pink balloons..;P

When my MIL saw the garlands and got back home she texted me if I had another...mm...NO.. But I can make it..lol.. I had a few days to make it, but I finished it on time..
I made a rainbow garland with 14 different fabrics in 7 different colors...
You can't see how great it was on the pic, but when we hang it up in the living at my MIL's house, It was so great.. I made it 9 meters, als long as there living is.
It's a beautifull colorful garland =)))))

Then I have two more order but then in felt. Two girlie Hello Kitty name garlands..I working on them right now.

As you can see in my header, we have snow.. For a few weeks it was just around zero degrees, but just before the weekend I was getting lower and we got SNOW!!!!!!
We love snow, and Noah the most off all.We are already had two days with a lot of fun...
Today we are watching from the inside...This morning the kids where watching Happy Feet (Kira for 5 seconds---long enough to take this pic lol ) =))))
Tomorrow another day to enjoy all the snow!!!
