A bit for stitching

Thank you all for the better wishes for my back, it's getting better a day, Friday I went to my physiotherapist, and since then I getting faster better. I can move again, but some moves still hurt a lot.
Monday I see her again, so hope she can help it away..

So the big piece of one color of Bumba is getting a bit tired, I started a smaller piece.
Thomas, Noah can't say it and calls it Thomat... It's a train who can talk and has a lots of train friends. Children love it, so also Robbert who is turning four next week, so started this piece:

It's almost finished finished, I miss two colors need to order them and hope to finish it one time.

Because I could not get further, I restarted with Lizzie Kate SAL. I'm working on April at the moment: I'm way way behind, the most are stitching up September, so need some smoking needles to catch up them.
I also signed up for a new SAL, haven't started it, but hope to do in the next week, It not a big piece and it's Halloween, it will be my first Halloween stitch, and love the design, but more of that I hope in my next post.

This week again I was feeling for something sweet to bake so I made profiterole. It's was my first time and they where very very very and very delicious:You can see the whipe cream come out of them, I stuffed them to full
After making the whipe cream Noah knowes he always get some, look at him: Smile.....

Noah got a kite for his birthday, so this week we went to the dike for kiting: DH and Noah walking up the stairs!!

This is the only picture I have, because the kite went in the air, fell done, Noah walked over it and it broke... it was a very short kiting......
But this morning bought two new kites (one for backup..hihi) so we try it again this week.

Crafts and ow my back

This morging I was bringing Noah to school, but he did not wanted to go, so when I lifted him up to carry him in to the classroom, I whent through my back. OMG what a pain. I called the doctor, but because of my pregnanty I can't take anything. So it's going to be a fun week...hihi, Thankfully Noah is giving me so much joy, and that takes the pain away....

The last few days I've done a bit of crafting again...
This is my progress of Bumba: I'm so glad the red is finished, but a big piece of yellow is coming up....

The Mooshy Bunny's are so cute to make so look at what I made... And made a cute little blue sling, the flags are much smaller then the normale I make: Need to iron it, but i'm pleased with my little piece.

It has been a while since I baked, so this week I made chocolate cookies from the recipe I found on this blog.
Mine are flat cookies, but her cookies where not flat so need to try it again... but they where very yummy

I'm going to my bed giving back some rest, hope it's a bit better tomorrow.

Noah go to school!

Every week Noah is going two times to school, he so loves it.
This is a pictures of him, last week just before his first day of school, with his backpack:

The whole day he calls 'children play fun, children play fun'. When I ask him if he whants to go to school, he calls very loud YES... Tonight just before going to bed I asked him, what are you going to do tomorrow.. he laughs and says SCHOOL...

Last Saterday we celebrated his birthday with the family, he was so happy, especially with all the lovely gifts he got. He had the day of his life.This is one of the gifts he got....with his name on it...

Ranae, I'm sorry he didn't get any green boots, but when his red ones are to small I'll try to find green ones

I also baked three cakes, 2 whipe cream and 1 apple:

For diner I made vegetable soup, two kinds of pasta and chocolate ice..
There was many left, So we at it a few days......It was no punishment especially not for the cake.....

I don't have any stitching or sewing update's, hope to have something next time

Noah's birthday!!!

Yes yes today my little cute boy is turned into a big boy, he turned 2.
I'm so proud of him and love him so much.
Yesterday we started to make the cake, Noah always helps: This morning we decorated the cake, Noah so loves to eat the whipped cream: This year the cake turned out better then last year:

Noah loved all the attention and gifts he got.
I also have made a Bumba birthday hat, but forgot to take a photo because did not like it on his head...

I turned his whole birthday into BUMBA style as you can see on the cake.
This week I was very busy with making decoration for his birthday, I was planning it for a long time, but still wasn't in the mood, this week, I loved too craft it.

It's on both side the same, and love how it turned out, because of the spiral it can turn. When Noah came downstairs this morning he was so glad to see it, he kept calling Bumba Bumba, he was so excited.
In de garden under the porch I wanted to have a sling, so Tuesday night I started it and about 2 and a half our later this was made: Can you see the lovely weather we are having!!!

Tomorrow is a BIG BIG day. It's the first time Noah is going to créche (is that right in Englisch for a two year old???). So he is a toddler now and every toddler need a toddler backpack.. I found this tutorial. But with fabric do I use.
I don't have any cool car fabric (don't like Disney Cars fabric for myself) or other boy fabric, here I can only find girly girly fabric, a lot of pink (yesterday been to the big fabric market only girly girly). Then I tought a friend gave me a jeans, which it to big for me.
So I decided to make this:Into this:

So this week I made many thing, but havn't stitched.

I love love my new sewing machine..

But first my progress on Bumbalu. He got a friend now. The bird Kiwi and his best friend Bumba. It a large piece 150 x 200 stitches, but is going there: It's it cute!!

Noah is running out of PJ's, so started on my first piece on my sewing machine the One Size Fit Many baby/Toddler PJ pants from From An Igloo.
I have a lot of knit fabric so there shell me more of these:
I emailed her to asked with pattern she used for the top from Ottobre, and I have it thankfully, never crossed my mind to make it...hihi
So here is the top I made last night: I forgot to wash the fabric, so this morging in the washing machine and today we have a day with lovely weather, so it's hanging outside: Tonight Noah can wear it..

Last Fall I bought a few felt packages to make, started one but did not liked my outcome. It's fall again end they still where in the closet. So tryed another one to make. At on moment there was written to use the sewing machine, so tryed it and also made the festonstitch with the sewing machine:

I'm not totally happy with it but for the first time it's lovely. It's hanging above the dinner table now, above Noah and he loves it.
Still hope to finish the piece I started last year but not for a while, too busy...

Noah was trying to help with cleaning the house this morning so he sat in his playbasket...
So my holiday is over, need to go to work in a hour.

So many things to tell

Beware long post many pictures

Thanks all for the better wishes for Noah, he is feeling great again, only he made me sick last week :-(. I was feeling so bad I haven't stiched a thing, after a few days I was feeling a bit better I stitched a bit on Bumbalu and this is my progress so far. I hope to finished before Noah's birthday, but don't think I'm going to make that

Last weekend we had a wedding from a cousin of DH, and we made it in to a fun weekend. We went a day to soon because ortherwise we needed to get up very very urly to drive that far. So I was looking on the web for something fun to do and came across a Castle Park, it's a park with animals and children's farm and a playground. Noah had such a blast It was very safe for kids, so Noah could walk along, we bought a bag of food, and at each animal that was a sign of we could feed the animal. He had so much fun watching all the animals and playing, what a fun to watch him. We went to the same hotel as last time, but a better room...hihihi
Our room was on the ground floor, so Noah had a lot of room to play with his Lego Duplo
The next day Dh and I went to the wedding and Noah to my SIL to play the whole day with Mika, he wanted that for weeks, was calling his name, so he didn't noted we whern't there. In the evening of the wedding we needed to wear black tie, look at us (don't look at ur faces, we can't laugh on pictures) With my big belly...hihi and the dress fits perfect...

We had such a fun weekend so we stayed a day longer to help my SIL in the garden, but yesterday when we got home we where very tired.. after a good night sleep we feld better today...hihi

2 weeks ago I shouted at my sewing machine, it wasn't the first time so Dh was tired of it and I needed to bring it away to buy a new one (what I wanted for a lobg long long time) And yes I bought a new sewing machine. The men from the store was surprised my sewing machine was still a life, I have it for a year of 7 now, a learn how to sew, and sewed al kinds of fabric, but my sewing maching only could sew thin fabric, and NO jeans, I used a lot of jeans...So it was time, here a picture of my new machine (from the web)The Brother Innov 50.

This I what I tryed with it today (I picked upthe sewing machine this morning in the store, it was finally there), it's totally diffent then my last seweing machine so it will take a while before I understand it but I'm so happy happy with it: Can you see the little crocodile, Yes I have a sewing machine that sews crocodile... My last could only do backstitch and zigzag.. so a world is opening for me.

I showyou the pieces that I was making shouting on my old machine: I so love it, it's hanging on Noah's room, but need to change it a bit on my NEW machine...

As you can see the name of my blog is changed. With googling I came across a website that was called wizzywear, and in the future I would like to start a little shop, so I can't use the name anymore then, I was feeling a bit depressed, I so love the name, but where ever a door is closed a window while open, so need to think of a new name and there is no probleme anymore... A new name... uuhmmmm

It's getting late, and the post is getting long so I'm going to stop.
