Merry Christmas to you all!!

Every year I call the 27th of December, the third Christmas day.

So I can still say

I hope you had a wonderfull time with family and friends.

I had a awesome time.. so busy that I didn;t had the time to say sooner Merry Christmas, it was my planning... but you know how it is these days.......

Lets work backwords for the days.

Tonight I had a Run organized by Runnersworld, 

 It was the first edition, so much fun, I hope to do every edition from now on

Run for Fun

For next year I have many more runs on my agenda, I love doing them

My goal - >another top 10 place

Yesterday Second Christmas day we went to my inlaws ( hubby's dad)

As a suprise for the kids we went Ice skating

ow my it was 20 years ago that I did that, and for year i wanne give it a try again.

Noah gave us all a big scare.

He wanted to have the real skates, he went on the ice a away he was. lap after lap after lap.

I could not believe my eyes.

It was awesome.

Little Kira was a bit scared, but after a while also she tryed alone

When I see that picture of my, I need to think about one off my favorites movies : Iceprinses, at some time she is playing with he hand front back front back in the movie. When I see this pic I need to think about that part of the movie.

To bad just before I stopped my skates where flying infront, and I fell very hard on my bottom.

But still I had a awesome experience

The first day of Christmas my inlaws ( hubby's mom) came to us , and I cooked our diner.

The pictures, are not all that lovely but everybody liked it very much, so it was good. And I had really fun in the kitchen

~ First dish ~

saddle of hare and venison (hazenrugfilet en hertenbiestuk) with honey mustard sauce

For kids -> frankfurter sausage in puff pastry

~ second dish ~

oxtail soup

with

homemade bread

~ Main dish ~

 croute pork tenderloin, green beans in bacon, carrot in honey, potato croquettes, pommes duches, applesauce, stewed pears

~ dessert dish ~

As I made some many things, and at the grocery they had a sale on Ice cream cake.

I bought the dessert. ( it wasn't that good also.. next time I will make it myself again)

Can you imagine, we had a yummy yummy diner.

I love to cook, so much joy in the kitchen and on the table

On Chrstmas eve I always love to be with teh four of us. We Gourmet. First time kids did it them selfs. Kira doesn't like it, she burned her fingers, bu the ood she reall likes

So as you could she we had a sweome days, with Christmas

We eat a lot of yummy diners.

Had big laughs, and joy, as Christmas is al about for me.

Rudolph teh res nose reindeer finished just in time to go with Santa .

Next year I will make his friend

 very dark pictures, but I think he is good to see.

After finger crochet which Kira still likes very much ( she is making a garland at the moment foe her birthday ( who is in 22 days). Now she wanted to learn how to cross stitch,

It's hard, as she srill is only 4 years old, but the first stitches are made

I have it now for 3 yearsm but it never has been as beautiull as this year.

This week will need to make a new pictures, more flowers are in bloom now

Have a few easy day's, it's almost the end of teh year, I need to work New years Eve, But I hoep to be back here this week.

Getting in to Xmas

Between working, school activities, sporting, cleaning, spending time with the kids my days are full.

The time to craft and read blogs is ...........

Today I started to be up-to date with my blogloving (again), almost done.

At which moment, time started to really be to short to do something???

But in the spare time, I did some fun crafting for Xmas and baby's 

Here you can see the 3 projects that I have been working on for weeks!!

I love crochet, but not to put it all togheter, it was terrible.. But I made it ;))

My little Christmas Navivity

It's looking so cute, I was very fast with my picture, its good that I did that, because Kira play's with it all the time.

Only the donkey is not yet finished, It needs hair, but I'm out of black yarn, before next Christmas it will be finished , I hope also with a shepherd, and maybe some more sheeps and ..........

The other project, is rudolph the red nose reindeer.

Only I made a little mistake with reading the pattern

Now working on the antlers.

But as you can see the nose is way way way to big. The white part of the nose is 7 rows to big, I changed the brown part as that was 7 rows to short, and after I put it on teh head I saw the white also was 7 rows to big.

It looks like pinokkio.... :O

From the front its a lovely Reindeer, but from the side... hihihihihi =)))))

In our dinertable lamp I put some branches and christmas light, and asked the kids to decorate it.

I think you can tell which are from Kira, and which are from Noah..hihihi

I haven't took a picture of it will try to do tomorrow.

Do you have a Christmas 'tree' with horses in it???    no??    I do.. ;))

Then our Christmas tree.. Mommy why all white.. because mommy likes it, and I will not get crazy off al the colors after a few day's we have  small living,a nd when it's full of colors, I will climb of the walls after 5 days.. .. :")

I made this for my front window, a bit Frozen, as I saw it in the store we went a few weeks back

But just like every year at the dansschool from Kira they have a master big tree

So a picture there, and kids where happy again.

It's time to show some yummy yummy on the blog again.

Last week I got a bag, and when I opened it.. yummy mussels.

Not Noah, but the rets of us all love them. Kira. who can't get enough of them..They where so yummy

My friend gave birth of her fourth cute little baby boy.

And that needed a lovely gift

The baby room is ochreous/grey, so the gift had to be that color 

I made a little tag with his name in it.

She was very happy, so happy, that in the evening I got a picture of the little baby with the cuddle and the question if I want to make another one.

As its so cute to make, I made another one

I shown the picture to a other friend, who told me she was organize a babyshower, asked me to make a pink one.

Here I put a little tag on with the name I use for sell crafts. I still have no tags or something like that, but this was fun to make.

I love these little baby cuddle, almost makes my ovary rattle... almost!!

Tomorrow my BIL gave his birthday party, and as I didn't know what to gave, he asked my to make my apple pie he always loves.

It's done in the oven, and calling to be eaten...

I need to be strong

Last week Noah had his exam for Judo.

He managed to get his green slip

We are so proud of him.

Tomorrow he has another tournament. We can't wait. it's the first time I can see it, last time I had to work. So great to see him.

Sinterklaas

So .... as you all know Sinterklaas is my favorite time of the year. 

Every year it makes me feel like a little child again.

And my children love it too very much

Here are some pic's

 I did a lot of face painting the last weeks

These pic's are from Yesterday, it was the birthday of Sinterklaas, and then he gives the children gifts.

In the afternoon, I asked the kids with kids of my colleague to play for Black Pete to help Sinterklaas at my job, They brought gifts to all the patients, and they loved it.

Kira asked for the horse Amerigo of Sinterklaas, and a unicorn, her favorite horse

I did my best

Noah made this picture of me painting Kira.

Look at what we did with this box, I thought I put the pictures from this DIY project on my laptop, but can't find them.

But you can imagine, kids loved painting it. First light brown, then with a sponge we made the red bricks on it.

We went to the playground across the street to look for branches, I bought some red Xmas light..

And taaadaaaaaa out very own fireplace.

Kira made the white horse of Sinterklaas. 

So fun.

Today Sinterklaas went back to Spain, next year November he will come back

So all the decoration is back in the box.

Noah is having so much fun at Judo

Here he got his first emblem.

And last week he got a third place medal on a tournament, it where all groups of 4 kids, so all kids got a medal. Great organized

We are so proud of him.

Next week he has a exam for a new color for on his band, and the week after another tournament

The weekends are very busy at the moment.. hihihi

It's so strange, but lives goes on ....... so here is the rest of my post

I see it has been a month ago that I posted the last time.

Begin this Year I told that when Kira will go to school I will have so much more time.

NOTTTTT :(

I'm doing even more then when she was at home, but al fun things.

I even didn't had the time to see my bloglovin, when I opend it this week.. oops....

So much of the lovely blogposts I have read, I still have a few waiting for me.

Last month we went away for a week in Fall-break

 Kids where having so much fun

 I have been teaching Kira how to fork-knit, she can do it very good, and loves it, I borrowd it from my friend, this week Kira and I bought it with thicker yarn, so soon more

The weekend after I went with 3 friends to Amsterdam

A friend saw Dark Vader, so I went with him on the picture for Noah.

We had a awesome weekend, it was my first Time in Amsterdam ♥

With the kids and my MIL ( Kids where so lucky that she stayed with us for 4 weekend and our Fall-break) and I went to the Intratuin, its a flower/garden store. Every year  for Christmas they decorate it so beautifull, it looks so awesome, from October till January.

The theme this year was FROZEN.. can you imagine how much Kira liked it.

Soon we will go back to look at all the pretty things again.
