Lovely Lambs by Joan Elliot!

It's Spring and it's finished!! ♥

Today we should have had rain, but i only saw sun!!

YEAH!!

Let's hope more day's will come like that, My garden back and front are done. Flowers are getting in bloom more and more, we play in it, look at it..

So this year could fins it easy, and make it..

°• Stitching - Spring versus X-mas •°

Spring versus X-mas, sounds a bit like Europe versus USA..

It's the same.

Hope you hanging in with all that snow.

Maybe this will be a bit of a happy thought for all you who are stuck in the snow.

Then for my stitching part.

I have been working a bit on my LK  JINGLES SAL

Really love the fabric, the colors, the way how it looks.

It's been much counting.

Learning new things is fun, and doing it with friends is even more fun.

Then I wanted to make a cute Spring design.

By seeing the adorable alphabet pattern by Joan Elliot in the latest The world  of Cross Stitch I fell in love right away.

I saw on Facebook a part of somewone who was stitching it.

I wanted to do the same!!

~ Spring is still here ~

For the whole week we still had Spring.

For this weekend they say a bit of rain, and next week not that beautifull anymore, but for now it's really awesome.

We are enjoying it so much...

Yesterday went with Kira to my favorite garden center, I still had some gift vouchers 

( not anymore now.. lol)

♥ We had awesome time. ♥

It's a very beautifull garden centrum as you see at the above pic =)))

Kira wanted to try out all the sitting and lying pieces...

We had fun..

And I found new inspiration for many more wreaths.

I got some flowers for the garden, and Kira found a big ladybug to put in the garden

Also got it in my head to be painting some tray's and my apple crate.

I have been working so much in the garden, awesome with this weather.

I only have to cut 2 more tree's and sowing some plants then back-garden is finished.

But for the front-garden I need some rain, the ground is to hard

With March being here, I fell totally in love with sheeps..

So crafting sheeps.

The first are finished

 In a painted try with a lovely spring flower

In the package was enough to make another sheep, or maybe 2, so will make more.

Last Friday that happend.

I got a awesome cute mail from my sweet friend Nia

Valérie and I talked about it, we where so nervous.

It was feeling like we where waiting in the waiting room of the hospital

Fast we went putting the last pieces together of our Voldemort Sal.

It's a name we called the secrect project for Nia's baby boy

(she doesn't like that name.. hihi ;))

 And now it's really time to get blue

Craft teacher on school !!

Last year in November Noah's teacher came to me, asking if I would like it to help the kids learning to craft.

On school there is no room/time anymore that kids learn it from teachers 

It did when I was little, but nower days, it's gone.

I like that very much..

But what to make.. the kids are 4-5-6 years old.

And I have 45 minutes the time.

It's ones a months.

The first time was with Sinterklaas.

So wanted to make something for it.

At that point my favorite felt designer made a tutorial on her blog.

I made it and tryed it with Noah, Kira en neighbor girl.

This is the results

(Left one is mine)

I changed the materials, because on school they don't have much.

The kids liked it so much!!

And here how the kids on school did it

Normally I get 4 kids, but she asked if I could do 7, and another mom would help me then.

Kids loved it so much..

Then in February ( January I forgot it ;(( ) they where working about the body and the teacher asked if I could do something with it

This is what I thought

A simple gingerbread body and then make it in to a person

Now I got this time a lot of crafty kids who liked it very much.. look at this

Isn't that great???

We have a bride, two boys and a girl

They had a lot of fun again.

Today was it again, and now they are working about Spring and flowers.

I got some balls of leftover yarn from a neighbor.. GREAT because I have not a real budget to buy things, till now used materials of my own, or what they have on school (not much)

I thought to try and learn the kids finger crochet...

It was fun.. hard but fun.

This time I had a 3 boys and 1 girl.

3 where saying "I can't do that" and another one didn't liked it..

But with many help we started, here a picture the teachers made of me learning it the girl

See all the yarn.. we can do it more often.

Curious of the end results??

The red rose was my model (it's now a gift fo the neidhbor girl she liked it so much).

The other 4 where made by the kids..

How crafty are kids????... 

It's not always what they like to do, but they do it..!!

Already thinking of what to make the next time!!

:( Frogs and Spring ♥

Thank you all for your lovely comment on my SAL Jingles piece.

I was stitching and stitching and stitching.. and then I found out I made a mistake.. but where????

Look at how far I got, but the snowmen, had no more room on the left.

I was counting, and counting, but could not find why :(((

Mailed with Nia and Rita, and then I saw it..

On the charts there are around the piece empty squares, that you don't need to count, and I did..

So I frog, frogged,was frogging some more..

I saw so many frogs.... :(((

You see where the stitches where??? :(((

So and then, start again.. but where.. I really had no idea..

There is also a count mistake in teh Cheer chart's it's not 56 high, but 55.

After founding that out I started again..

And look at this =))))))

( this is a good one for teh colors)

Then I also had another problem, Kira was coloring with markers next to me ( so much fun), and I wasn't paying attention, so I put my fabric on a marker, one big blue stain in my beautifull fabric..

...............NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..........

But after washing it with special stuff, it was gone..

!!!THANKFULLY!!!

How is the weather around our globe???

Here it's Spring!!!!

I have a beautifull collage for you!!

We went bike riding to the dike, walking in the polder, looking for ladybugs..

Isn't that awesome, that we have this weather, while we are having vacation ( kids, not me)

This afternoon, I wanted to try and be creative in the garden..

♥ It worked ♥

I maked wreath out of branches

First I need to cute a little tree

and then braid the branches, I only use the branches, nothing else to put it togheter

The big round one, I made first, then the little round one, and I also wanted to try a heart shape.

It worked for me!!

Then I had some daffodils.

So what will I do..

 I got some idea's..

My garden and living-room are getting in too SPRING-style

...... ♥ TADA ♥ .....

I love it so much!!!

The left pic, the big round wreath hang next to my front-door.. I knotted with branches the daffodils on it, and put some robe to attacht it.

Then right above, in my living some daffodils with a few little branches.

And below, I got a wooden apple crate a while back, I hang it and put the two other wreaths in there with the daffodils.

I love it..

Now I need to get some sleep, in a few hours I start my last night shift for this week..

I have the weekend off, and they think it will be 18/19 degrees.. SPRING 

3 more tree's to cut, maybe will make more!!!

Also have a date with my sewing machine.. but when????
