Thank you all for the congratz wishes on Kira's birthday.

She had a awesome time and got very spoiled

Last post, I didn't had time to take a pic of the last gift for Kira.

She has a doll-bed, and I made some bedding for it.

 I starting to love Patchwork

 a cute little pillow

 And there she is, in this beautifull bed!!!

It still needs a mattress, and the bed needs to get painted.

Also next week I;m starting on a crochet blanket for it.

In Holland they started the Dutch Crochet Alone 2014. It's a awesome piece, started on the 3th of January, beacause mine will be small I can keep up with it, but more of that next time!!

Last year a colleague asked me to make her a special piece for her Godson who was expecting a baby girl.

It's in the style of the baby room

It was the piece with the 250 pieces of ribbon.

Remember that I told you about that????

Here is the end-result!

It's was a big project.. 

Loved making the owl.

( I think it will also be the last time. cutting and binding al those ribbons... =((  )

But my colleague loved it, and so do I ♥

Can you remember that I posted this photo 3 years ago after giving birth to my beautifull little girl

With a birthday you have presents, and again I made them all myself.

She was enjoying me sew-stitch-crochet so much the last weeks ;)))

I really hope I will get such a big smile tomorrow!!

Let's start with the most awesome piece.

The crochet doll

I'm so in love with this doll.. Think I will make her again.. hihi

( took it with me to my the nursing home where I work, they really loved it)

It's crochet with hook G 4.0 

It's pretty large

Then I made a while back a Hello Kitty stitching piece.

And finally I finsihed it off in too a pillow case

It's perfect.. 

The pillow is 50x50 so also a big piece!!

Another stitching piece also got finished

This was a freebie by Vinniey at Cottage Garden Samplings

From the moment I stitched it I know I needed to make a pink pillow out of it.

And lucky as I was, my sweet friend Nia send me 3 pieces of light pink fabric.

I had this plan in my mind for over 2 years now, and finally it's done..

We had a bit of sunshine this morning.. a bit

As last for this post gifts I had to plan making a total set that Kira could wear when playing in her kitchen.

I had it all in my mind.

Here is the start of the idea

I love it.. but after it was finish, not totally as I hoped..

And since Kira likes to decide herself how things look like, she can choose the rest.

Yesterday the mailwomen  we only have woman here in town who bring the mail so 2014 hihi =))) brought a pacakage from France for Kira..

That can only be from two people.. and yes..

Sweet Valérie and her SuperHubby send little Kira a birthday gift.

 She loved it so much..

Anyone getting tired of all the white here on my blog???

Sorry it's my favorite color :P

But this is going to be a very PINK post, so put on you sunglasses. =))))

I've making many big projects the last months, 1 is still not finished and that is Kira's Blanket.

It's almost finish, but not yet

This is a old photo of the blanket, but it's more to show how not girlie Kira's room still was..

She even still had no curtains..

Remember that a few post back, I started with a note NEVER TO SEW CURTAINS again..

Now let me tell you that I bought curtain fabric when Kira was 2 months old, and just last year before Xmas I sewed them..

The reason, I was so afaraid of the big project.. 

And I can tell you this was the first and the LAST time EVER that i will sew curtain..

I have been frogging so much.. 

1 evening of sewing 

... became

2 DAYS of frogging, 

.....became 1 evening of sewing again..

But I did it!!!

 The color on the pic below is the right color off the curtains.. she is loving it so much.. 

REAL PINK..

And can you imagine the room only is 2 metre by 2,5 metre, so it's looking even smaller now and very PINK..

 but she is loving it!!

And I do too

Here you can see how the blanket is now..

At the right was the blanket already wash so it shrank a bit. so on the left I need to at more to get it in the right size..

So wanne attach in the front 2 or 3 rows more, and at the top also 1 or 2 more.. then I will wash it before giving it a egde..

Then after making Noah a memoboard you can see on this post ( scroll down to below)

I made Kira also a board, but never finished it off.

I did that last weekend

Kira is so happy.

Tomorrow DH is going to hang it in her room

Now she can put her favorite photo's/cards in it and all her pins.. 

In the years we lost a few.. 

And still enough room, so this year will make a lot of hairpins

Is it pink enough???

No??

Oke got another real pink project finished.

A XL yarn crochet pillow.

I bought the yarn a while back ( got it in blue for Noah too)

And started making a rows

And after a few hours it was done..

This is made on Hook 10. so a very fast job.

I didn't had enough for the back, so sewn fleece to the back

When I put it in her room, It was even she same color as the curtains.. so perfect match

The total pillow is made in 24 hours.. that really awesome for me.. hihi

Kira kept a good eye on me if I did it all good :)))) 

This is the back, it's a pillow case, so I can was it when I want

And Kira loves the back for her cuddles....

All three of her sheeps need to sleep like this every night now..

She has 2 more cuddles, a horse and dog.. I found a XL yarn basket I made a while back, there the horse is sleeping in.

And for the dog I;m making a white XL yarn crochet basket.. but that's still a WIP.

Kira really can't wait till her birthday.

I made a awesome crochet doll as a gift, and this afternoon was working on a apron, I also wanne sew 2 pillows.. so I will be busy between school/work/kids/cleaning and a little bit of sleep before Saterday

More colors soon...

New crochet piece ♥

All recoverd from christmas??

My sweet mailwoman thinks it's still christmas, she keeps bringing me Xmas mail.

I'm not complaning, it's so much fun, when a package comes, no matter when..

 Sweet Carol send me a beautifull card, with a chart from Lizzie katie Jingles..

I love it so much.. really too cute it is!!

With a wonderfull piece of ribbon, and needles.

Hello Blogosphere, Family and Friends

I ( We) wanne wish you all a very happy new year.

A year full of creativity, fun, joy and love.

Let all our dreams come true

And let new things come on our roads

 We gave the kids both one kids-firework sparklers ( a very long one)

They loved it

In The Netherlands it's tradition to bake  Oliebollen and Appelbeignets on the last day of the year.

The google translater calles them fritters..

Oliebollen = it really a kind of dough with raisins

Appelbeignets + it's a piece of apple with sugar and cinnamon and in a different version of te Oliebolllen dough

Both will be fritted!!

There where more, but I gave some away at the neighbors who got the baby-boy just before new year and we already eat a few..

mmmmmmmm... they where awesome!!

2014 is for me a year of celebrations......♥

♥In May, DH and I will be 10 year togheter♥

In July,  I'm working 12,5 year for my boss in the nursing home ( In the Netherlands 12,5 and 25 year is a celebration)

♥And last but not least in August I will turn 30♥

( I gave a big surprise party when DH turned 30  2 years ago, he wants to do the same for me, I hate surpises.. lol... but I first need to see it happen.. lol)

Goals for 2014:

NONE    =D

I set 13 goals in 2013, I finished 6

Around June I was tired off it all.

Also the list with all the things I made.. hihihi.. I stopped somewhere around 45 with writing it down, already don't know what i all made.. so a NO-GO for 2014 with that too... =)))

So for 2014 -----> Craft what I like!!!!

When I was typing this post, my Grandma came over, and look what she made me:

As you have seen before my Grandma is very creative.

This she made out of bicycle inner tubes (Yes real inner tubes from a bicycle) a plate, 

a wreath and a little hedgehog, all made out off  inner tubes.

And the some real and fake green the made the total piece..

It's awesome what comes out of her hands...

I'm going to cook diner now, and then to bed, I got the night shift this week, so we do not really celebrate Xmas, we make the best of it.. 

Being togheter is the best things..
