Cookie-jar, HMSAL and more ... *

Let me first begin with a pic of my stitching piece..

It's long ago that I showed one.

This weekend I wanne try and this the last part of the HMSAL I'm doing togheter with Nia and Valérie.

The Christmas ball is already finished

Then my Cookie Jar had a Sinterklaas make-over a few weeks back.

So I thought maybe fun to do something X-mas-style too.

But first we have too start with the cookies

Christmas cookies.

Kerst is Dutch for Xmas

Thinking of what to make on the jar, cute-little and simple, a pattern of holly leaves from the Attic24

Then the wonderfull jar

Our house is getting more and more in Xmas style!!

I don't think I have ever meantion it.

But Little Kira is having dancing class.. and she is loving it so much..

She started in September.

As I mailed you all back, Noah his little tree broke last year.

 We bought a new one this week. =))))

Small and cheap ( thay's the way I like it ) ♥

And after seeing THE MOST BEAUTIFULL CHRISTMAS TREE EVER, I helped him make a little version of it

I've tryed all kids of collage's.. but none would show the pic's in total, and my program on my laptop doesn't open :( :( :(

So no beautiull collega, but beautifull pic's

 He wanted to stand next to the dark blue ball.. ♥♥♥

I got them on the Xmas market at my job, we every year get gift vouchers too choose a gift, I choose these.

Aren't these awesome..

I send to DH that I love them so much..

We begin with the Christmas tree

Al the colors of Sinterklaas, made me crazy.. 

So put it al away, 2 days of no decoraton..

And then time for the christmas tree

First put him in the living yesterday

Today we decorated it

And this is how it looks like

Noah does not like it.

There is no color in the tree.

No real balls

No star in the top, only a Angel

And only crafted things..

That's no Xmas tree..

We went to friends this afternoon, the first thing he said was ::::

HERE THEY DO HAVE A BEAUTIFULL TREE..

Kira also helped decoration the tree at school

At this moment I"m very busy crocheting on the free time I have

2 of them later

The white project is a Xmas tree

I have something in my mind whit it.

Hopefully it will work out as I planned

Tomorrow I have some Exams from my work.

Last post about Sinterklaas :)))

Today is the birthday of Sinterklaas.

Kira is been jumping up and down and telling everyone that's it's Sinterklaas birthday.

She loves it so much..

But first back in time.

A big tradition is that from the moment Sinterklaas arrives in Holland is that you can put your shoe by the chimney, and when you have been sweet he will give you a little shoe gift or candy..

As a thank you we put a carrot, straw or sugar cube for the horse Americo in our shoe

Also a drawing for Sinterklaas of the Black pete's and your wish list

After putting your shoe, you sing a few songs and then go to bed and wait till morning to look if there will be something there ♥ ♥ ♥

I put it all on pic, how kids do that

 The drawing with wishlist on it!!

 Fold it and put it in your shoe

 Don't forget the carrot for the sweet horse

 And then singing songs VERY LOUD.. so they can hear it..

And all the neighbors.. hihi lol =)))))))))))))

 This is how it looks like when Kids are in bed 

And this when the get downstairs the next morning..

(A little craft jar was in there.. a boy and girls version...)

You can put your shoe every day,, but they are very busy, so not every day there will be something in there..

Sinterklaas also put a letter in there one time.. Kids loved that..

And he wrote only put your shoe in the weekend.. hihi

This morning Black Pete came all the way from the North of Holland and also some where in the middle to give the kids a little extra.

They where so very happy with them..

Today on his birthday normally in the evening he will come and will leave a bag with presents somewhere..

But we are having a horror storm as they called it on the news.. Code Red.

So it was waiting if it wasn't to dangerous to bring the gifts.. and no it wasn't!!

Look at this

 After hearing a big noise at the windows, kids where jumping.. black pete's on the roof... yeah!!!!

And look a bag at the front door

They where so happy..

And if that wasn't enough, I got a message on my phone that a neighbor say a black pete leaving a bag of presents at the front door hanging..

All four of us got spoiled in that bag..

Can you now understand why I LOVE this holiday???

It's the best holiday of the year.

And this year the kids really really really got spoiled!!!!

My little black pete's and a order for my MIL

As I told you Noah and Kira could play Black Pete last weekend.

On the big craft far, my MIL found the perfect patterns that she asked me to make for her.

She was affraid that i didn't have enough time.. 

I waited till I was done with my Sinterklaas crafts, and then I started..

I finished just on time

Then the gifts needed to be wrapped, 

buttt.. it's not like you can but wrapping paper in the store :PPPP

Sinterklaas has that, so we maked our own.

With the four of us we started..

Then I wrapped the presents.

Put them in the the special bags.

And on our way we go

Noah and Kira dressed up as Black Pete..

They had a awesome time..

Noah his handglove had a little hole, I needed to paint his fingertop black, he was afraid that his grandpa would she that he had a white finger..

so he would see it was Noah and noah Pete Noah

Isn't that the cutest!!

My Mil was so happy with her gifts..

On the last day, we finished it in to a Winter wreath togetheter

My Xmas craft mojo is still a bit low..
But I just started teh most adorable Xmas tree...
