So more about that Angel

Some of you have seen the gift that Nia made me for my birthday that she posted then on her blog.

Today was the day that little Angel fell on my doorstep.

I can tell you .. I'm over the moon.

I'm flying, I think I got wings...

It begon with the cute button box..

This is our send box now.. lol!!!

But when we open the box, paradise is looking to me ;)

and giving me many smiles :) :) :)

Nia is the most talented girl i have ever seen with this needle felting.

This girl is made totally out of her mind..

She know I love white and snowdrops.

I made the photo's extra big, so you can take a good look at her!!

My/Our weekend away! ♥ CRAFTING

As many of you could read I went away for the weekend with Kira, to my friend of North.

Starting with packing

After more then 4 hours drive, we all got there.

I drove together with Karina, Ellen and Mother Wil, to my friend Ingrid up North

Kira loved it there.

After arriving and making up our beds we exchanged gifts..

This is what I got.

I'm missing one wonderfull gift on this pic, I can't find it ( sorry Ellen) I will find it soon!!

She made me in too felt Ellen B, she is such a wonderfull designer

And this is what I made

Look at how she was the next morning

She had so much fun.

The reason we al went up north is that a big felt store had a open days..

And those are wonderfull to visit!

It was my first time..

The next day we went to the city Dokkum where we where staying, to follow a workshop, making a flower.

I made a pink one togheter with Kira..

Kira was a big helper!!

We al made a wonderfull flower

The whole weekend we where crafting crafting crafting..

Then make it in to a pillow

I bought that little green cutting blade..

TERRIBLE to work with..

Nothing was straight..

But I still finished it in a cute bed pillow

It's 50 x 25 cm

And look how wonderfull it looks on his bed

Would Noah love it??

I made this pillow 2 evenings ago..

Then last night i was sorting out some fabric, and I found THE perfect fabrics for Noah..

Another pillow was getting in my mind..

Project number 4 is that pillow

I got the idea to make my very first patchwork pillow...

Would it work?

Made a pattern and I nailed it!

I finished another pillow

For the backing I thought this fabric would be cool..

All fabrics with blue and ocean in one pillow.

I put the pillows away Noah will get them in 11 days.

HELLUP... in 11 days' my little boy will be turning 5 years..

Where was the time that he was a little baby in my arms..=))) ♥ 

( for this part of his room.. I still need to finish the crochet blanket, it's only this part, and wanne make a 3th pillow, but I'm thinking of what.. I think a crochet one.. but not decided yet.

The reason I said next week, is that I''m going on a little vacation with Kira this afternoon.

With the two of us we are going totally up north of the Netherlands ( I live down south).

What we al going to do you will find out next week.

We will be back by Sunday.
