It has been to long since I blogged...:(
Busy busy busy.. but that's life nowadays hihi :P

It's the last day of January..so that means GOALSSSSS

My Goals for January where:

1. Finish Blue tit Xmas ( hope with this to get my mojo back)
2. Make felted and crochet snowflakes..
3. And PINK PINK PINK PINK for Kira’s B-day
4. Make a felt ornament ( start slow..lol)

So let's look how I done it...hihi:

lol.... I'm glad to finally finished it.. but now... What to do with it.. It's to big for a ornament in my tree this year (yes I'm having a tree this year...:)))))

My Goals for February:

1. Make many hearts in diffents crafts
2. Stitch and finish a snowdrop
3. Do some stitched on Panda Days
4. Finish off Noah's blue owl.
5. Crochet a Xmas ball

Oops I see It's february at the moment.. lol..

For this month 5 goals... good luck to me...

About number 5. the owl.. have been working on that today

Kira and gifts

Thank you so much for your celebrating wishes for my little girl..
She is getting so big.. We had a great a great week, with a love of pink, but also other beautifull colors... ( not that your things it's all pink in my house at the moment)

I have some lovely pic's to show with you, but my Picasa don't recognize my maps on my pc anymore.. So I can't make collage's at the moment, need to find the problem or a new program.. so only a few pic's more will come.

It's tradition here that the kids get a pic with eating the whipcream on there B-day.. Here is the first of little Kiraso cute..

Then I also got such a beautifull gift al RAK from Annie I love it so much.. Thank you Annie.. and look what is written on the card.. isn't that so wonderfull.
She wrote on the card I can use it for hot chocoa...hihi.... NOT... to afraid that I will make it dirty. I have been truly spoiled!!!!

Kira's B-day :)))))))

Today is the day.. my little girl turned 1 year old..:)
How fast is time flying... :O
It feels just like yesterday that I hold her for the first time

Crochet things!!

But First..
Just before we started the new year Saskia asked me if we meet in a holiday.. so in the last week I drove with the kids to her..
Her beautifull girl Dominique loves to decopatch and was making a lovely mirror..
As a suprise (because I had never heart of it before) they bought me some craft supplies so I could decopatch together with Dominique..
Look at what I made... For on Kira her room
It's so great to do... a special paper you rip in pieces.. and then glue them on something.. al across it, don't need to do it neat.. when your done, do another layer of that special glue and done you are... so great!!
I need to hang a bit more on it.. but still thinking of how to do.. but that will come some post!!

Then as a suprise I made a pie for them.. didn't had to time to craft.. but cookies is also a craft.. and this is what I made I started to late... the evening before.. I was tired, and Noah helped..we loved it... so it's a very simple one.. but ow so yummy!!!
Love making thos.. can't wait to make the one for Kira's B-day!!

Then my crochet pieces..
As my goal was snowflakes... here they come!!!

I crochet two snowflakes from a pattern of the lovely designer Doni, on her blog you can see so many lovely things she makes... she has a lot of beautifull patterns for sell and free.. That a look at her blog!!
More of thes snowflakes too come.. they look hard to make, but are so easy and with a picot stitch... so great!!!
The other snowflakes in the branch are from felt I made them last January.. need to make a few more

Then a PINK crochet.. I;m still working on Kira's blanket.. I'm going to try and finish it before Kira's B-day in 2 weeks.. But I don"t know If I will make that.. need 35 more squares.. and then it's done for now...You see on the upper pic I still need to work off the end thread.. but I don't like that...;))))

And have a lot more plans to make then... more blanket.. cushions.. a craft bag to put my crochet WIP in.....

Everyone is starting 2012 slowly??..

I've seen on some blogs that they make goals and take part on SAL's....
I have tryed that many time... didn't work al those times..

1 year -12 months -52 weeks..to little days..=)))

Uhmm..mmm

Goals????
I wanne make goals again..but also are going to try to finish this goals.. starting them is the most important thing..
On many blogs I see so many Xmas ornaments.. I always started to late.. that’s going to change.

So my goals are:
1. Make each month a ornament for the 2012 Xmas tree (not only stitched ones)
2. Make a monthly decoration piece for my livingroom
3. Finish my Wip’s
1. Panda day’s
2. Snowmen and Santa
3. Blue Tit Christmas

I think this will be enough for a year.. because many other project will come and start!!
Each months I will write a post with what I wanne finish, and if I finished it..

For January:
1. Finish Blue tit Xmas ( hope with this to get my mojo back)

I wanne wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR =)))))))))

I had to work last night till. 23.00. we organized a bingo with the patients.. we had so much fun..
Then quickly to home, and celebrate it with DH, who was waiting for me.
Beacause it was Saterday on Sunday, it was very quiet. all the firework was done at 01.00...

I hope everyone had a fun night, no one got hurt..

May all your dreams come true.. have a creative year.. let us enjoy each other craft a whole new year =)))))))

Beware!!! long post

I hope everyone had a great Christmas..
Some of you may have recieved a package from me, from a few I didn't hear if they arrived it yet.. but I hope they will soon.
I wanted to send all my blog friends something, but that would mean making a lot of gift.. I didn't had the time..
So if you don't got something.. We have a whole new year in a few days.. maybe you will be the lucky one for a little RAK!!
About the gift..
This is what I made =)))

I can tell you it was so hard to choose, who to send.. I had more then 30 names!!
So sorry for the ones who didn't get something

Last week on school, all the parents made a Christmas piece, this is what we maked It was a little candle so it was a short burning candle, but ow so beautifull. Noah loved the train in it. We did a beautidull work =)))

I will show you all a bit of our Xmas days.

The day of Christmas eve, Dh had to work, so I took the kids to a indoor playground. They had so much fun, Noah found a girl and off he was playingKira was very afraid at start, but after a while see had so much fun.

In the evening Dh was at home, and I made a yummy dinner..
We started with the entree : mozzarella with tomatoes and bacon Don't think we are alone here.. the kids also sat at our table, I needed to put there plates on table
The kids eat pancakesAnd as you see, our main course was also on the table, DH had lamb steak and I had four types of fish, with potato croquettes and lettuce.
And as dessert I made a jummy Chocolami, it's a chocolate sausage...mmmmmmmm
The first day of Christmas we want to the woodstoo take a nice walk.. kids had so much fun.. it was busy in the woods
In the evening we went to my father for dinner, Dh had to work this time in the evening

The second day of Christmas..DH was at home!!!!! we went to family.
I made the Christmas outfits for today I made Kira a cute little dress, I made the pattern the most myself, I so love this old basic pattern, I bought a red shirt and dark blue tights for it..
For Noah I made a black pants and from the same fabric as the Kira's dress a vest..
I bought a white blouse with it...so cute!!! =)))))
For myself I made a dress and a red jacket.

I'm so sorry I forgot too made pic's with us wearing the clothes, this is all I have of that beautifull and great day but it's still winter so we will wear it again..

In this busy month I lost my stitching MOJO..
But I do have a crochet MOJO.
I have done a bit on Kira's blanker, It has now 42 granny's squares.. I have put it on Kira's bed.. and the good news is I'm hald way there... the bad news.. need to make another 42 squares I have done almost a year over 42.. I will try not to do the smae with the other 42..
Cute Noah as for a blue one ( I had already had it in my mind for months.. so a busy year is coming agian.. lol

Look what I bought last week.. I'm having so much joy of it!!

few things to show!!!

So a few day's further.. and not much done.. but have some pic's.
My dear friend Saskia spoiled us so much, she made me and Dh a ornamentAlso the kids got a gift, but forgot a pic of them

Yesterday a friend of Noah came to play.. the boys where so busy running and playing.. I asked if they wanted to bake Xmas-cookies..
They didn't say NO...lol =))) This is what we baked... and they are yummy..

I love it... and the visite that came also.. lol... Need to bake them again and again.. really loved it

Last weekend and this week did a little bit of crochet
More of the blanket I hope in the new year!!

I have a pic of my sweet little girl... who like to act as a boy (just like her mom)... She was jumping, crawling.. and then

A bloody nose..:(...:(...:(

But thankfully she could laugh about if after a lot of crying... the poor girl... she fal so hard... but I think that will not be the first and the last time..
There is nothing to see anymore in het face... thankfully...
It wasn't easy to clean it up, for months we can not sit on her nose.. so as your could see Dh hold het and made her laugh so I can clean it... and ( bad bad mommy take a pic also) sorry Kira... but we will laugh about then when your 30... (not at 16/17 then you will be to mad on me) lol =)))

Ardennes

It's been a while again.. but I have good reasons for that.. yes???... YES!!
1 thing I can't tell you but the others I can tell...=)))

I have been away.. and we had snow :) ;) ;) :)
Friday morning we drove too the Ardennes in Belgium, together with the family of DH. We all sat in one house a very beautifull and BIG house =)). We had a great time and with the snow.. really the time of our lifes..
Kids had so much fun.. the first time that Kira saw snow.
Here you can see some pic's of all the snow.

MIL&FIL... thank you so much for a great weekend

As a suprise... oke..( they hope I will do it) so it wasn't a big suprise I baked a pie They all loved it.. it was very tasty.. Dh tried that my nephew called ma aunty Pie..hihi I don't think we are going to do that AT ALLL =)))

I have a lot to show you all.
I have been sewing Xmas clothes for Noah, Kira and me... so beautifull, but not totally finished, need to attach the buttons.
And many more... but had bad light not good for pic's... but they will come!!

The start of Christmas

Thank you all for your lovely comment about my kids... they made me :$ :$

Yes Sinterklaas is also really gone in my home.
And my Christmas things are growing in my living!!
The last 3 year I had branches above my dinner table, but dit it away after 3 year I was tired of it..
But what to do this year!
Kira loves grabs everything, so DH don't wanted a Christmas tree yet..
No Branches No Christmas tree.....mmm think :( :( :(..
After a lot of thinking this afternoon whent with Noah to the playground across and there is also a little soccer-playground with a lot of trees.. Trees that where cut..
To took some branches... and yes the branches are haning again above my table, but this time also in my front window
Two pic's of the branches in my front window... put there 20 light on battery in, and some transparant balls, and also some little snowmen and with little garlands... need to look at it for some day's maybe more need to be there.. Then also a big pic of my side window.. with Hello Kitty and Cars on the couch (sinterklaas presents)
And what is standing on my Television table...( the 20 light first where on the Etagere with the white balls)..
And you can see the still empty branches above my dinner table...

Then I have done a few stitches.
Part 3 of my Tweet Christmas SAL is doneI hope to finish this one togheter with the MS SAL before Christmas... I so like them!!

In my last post I forgot to show a pic of my Sinterklaas gift.. A crochet bookAll the yummmy yummy yummy I can bake, I now also can crochet... loved it... thank you Sinterklaas...

Today my sweet mailwomen came by and brought me something.... what will it be what will it be!!

Sinterklaas gifts

Hi all...
So Sinterklaas is back on his boat to Spain.. so take a rest from his hard work.. In a whole day he put gifts in all the shoes of all the kids in the whole Netherlands, and on 6th in Belgium, and in some other country's.

I wanted to make something fun for my kids and nephew's

It are felted name garlands and crochet balls, the balls of Gabriel I made with pompons.
For Kira is the Hello Kitty and Noah the Cars. They are now hanging above there doors in the hallway upstairs and with the pink and red crochet heart on Kira her door (Noah wil get blue ones next year), the hallway looks so great.. I only miss something above our bedroom, but the idea is already born -> but for next year..

For my two nephew's in Belgium I made the Bumba garland, and the oldest nephew on the other side on the county here is also crazy about Cars, so he also got a Cars..

I so like how they turned out.
There are also more people that like them.
Totally I have four -----> yes four orders..

One is already finishedThey loved the Bumba also..
This week I started up a little site (It's a Dutch Facebook) to show what I have made, and people can order from it. 5 minutes after the first pic was placed the first order came in.. .. so more of these are coming..
It's a lot of work, but so great!!

I'm just done with the most of the Christmas decoration that I had.. and cleaned up the whole house.. ( tomorrow not much time).
It's looking so great all the little lights.. love it..
But I see I need a lot more decoartion, but I wanne make it all... and I already had so many things I wanne make..
So need to see what will get done, and the rest I save for next year =))))

Then I will end this post with a CUTE collage..They are getting big so fast.
Both are sleeping for hours.. I'm going to do that too..

Some stitches

Most of the things I'm making I still can't show for Sinterklaas.. wait a few more days..
But they are all finished, did the last part this evening, so next week when Sinterklaas is back home in spain, the pic's are to see on my blog.
Then can start on the things for January... busy.... many things to make, and I also wanne try to make some thing for Christmas, but still don't know If I have the time for it Because Kira her First B-Day will be in January and the house will change from white to PINK/RED for a few days... (can't wait)...=)))) But let if leave for a few weeks still... It's going to fast already..

This last week I have done a few stitches and done some crochet (It's almost Midnight so dark and bad time to take a pic)

Then this week I got it on my hips, as we say in here in Holland.
That means when you want something to do, you do it straight away... I have that some (MANY) times. ... DH gets very afraid when that happens... never know what will change...lol :)
I wanted to change my living a bit, so did... changes the toys for the kids, the furniture and my front window..
My hydrangea in my front window where almost dead, so put them away in the garden and put the plants from my back window in front ( now need to look for some new plants back window is empty ( oke a big lie my sewing machine and some sewing stuff is in it LOL =)))))))
This is what I did with my front windowIf you can see the sun was shining that morging ( having two days of rain now).
Those hearts are my crochet heart!!
I love the way it looks..
And my zwarte pieten are still hanging above my plants.. the hydrangea's where a bit smaller so you could see them better, but in a few days they are moving to a box again, so I let them hang..

That was my quick post! I'm of to bed It just turned midnight!!

Here I'm again

I have been very busy the past week.
I had another try to sell somthing..... on 2 different days.
That also a reason I was so busy, because I was making some new things.
Not all I can show, because one of the new items is also a Sinterklaas gift, but the other things I can show

I made a few more hairpins and boy's cars.
Also tryed out a bow of a hairpin, but that's a work in progress...lol
I made 6 CUTE cupcakes, I love them so much... and PINK... who wouldn't love them...
I made another Christmas swing, and some Christmas tree hangings And made one more heart.. they are now hanging here, teh white on in my living, teh others on Kira her room

Everybody liked what I made, but nowone bought something :(:(.... oke that a bit of a lie... I sold 2 hairpins....lol..=))))))))(in 2 days..) But I had a lot of fun...
The first day I did got a order for a b-day garland, and on the second day a order for my new item..

While sitting there and standig there and sitting again and drinking a lot of tea, especially on the second day because it was so cold, so we drunk a lot of tea to keep warm... 2 euro for a paper cup of hot water... never doing that again... but because of the cold you want it... my botlles of cold water wasn't enough...lol..
The first day I did it togeheter with a colleague of DH who sold jewelry, and on the second day a colleague of mine who sold perfume..
Both days we had a great day... and while being there I crochet a bit on Kira's blanket... you remember that on... it's now a bit larger, 36 granny squares Kira her little hand...=)))))))
Look at how big it is getting.... Today I used it again when I was walking with Kira and Noah... Noah walks but Kira still sit ( but for how long...she love climming on the stairs) so put her blanket on her... lol... she likes the colors!!I hope this winter to make it big enough for het bed....

Then look at what the postwomen brought!!Don't look at the bad picture.. It is getting very fast dark here..
Dear sweet and talented Miek, made me a knitted donut... al kinds of PINK colors, with a brown bottum..
Miek thank you so much..
You all need to go and take a look at her blog (in Dutch)... She paints stitching fabric... and she can do that so beautifully.
She has done it for years, and know started it again after a breake...
Look out... you will fall in love.=))))))

Sinterklaas has arrived =))))

Today Sinterklaas has arrived with his boat in the Netherlands.
For the new followers I try to explain what Sinterklaas is

Sinterklaas (Sint Nicolaas) is an old and very friendly man (just like Santa Claus). We celebrate his B-day on 5th of December (in Belgium on the 6th).
Sinterklaas has many helpers they are called Zwarte Piet (zwart = black, they have black faces).
Every year he comes with his boat half off November from Spain where he lives.
He has a big book, with al the childrens names in it, and there is written if you where a sweet and good child. If so, he comes on the night of 5 December with his Horse Americo on the rooftops together with the Zwarte pieten, to put gifts in the chimney.
He likes to give instead of receiving gifts for his Birthday.
From the time that he arrives till 5 December he can recive all the lists that the Children sent him with what they like to get.
Also in this time he visits al the towns and city's, here he will come in two weeks.
In the week before you can put your shoe before the chimney our backdoor, if you put a carrot or sugur cubes for Americo, you will get a little gift or Sinterklaas candy, also you can put drawing and all kinds of things and you wish list in your show..
In many growsery stores you also can put your shoe also on schools

It's a Holiday expecially for children and so much fun... Still I love it..
The not so nice thing about it is, that when children get around 8 year, they will find out that Sinterklaas is not real, and that's not so great, but still you can enjoy it then in a other way by making gits for each other and make it in a surprise.

For me the most fun thing is ... I can make my own decoration... lol
Yesterday I got it all from the attic, and I have little bit a Sinterklaas house

From the things I made last year I made photo's, here they come

On the left you see my felten Zwarte Pieten, they are now hanging in my front window, the paper craft are hanging on Noah his window, and I made those little gifts and carrots.

With Sinterklaas we also have many yummy yummy candy, and one of it is pepernoten or also called kruidnoten... they are so yummy.
I made a wreath with it last your, put al the pepernoten on it with glue, and as you can see it survived

And this is how it's on my table
It's a bit boring, but I hope to change that.

I have not much to show.. I'm busy making Sinterklaas gifts for my nephew's and Noah and Kira.. After Sinterklaas I can show them to you... so be patient, It's worth it =))))

I have one little pic to show... I made 3 more hearts with crochet On the 6th of Decemer Sinterklaas will go back to spain and then it's time for the Christmas decoration... so a lot more to show then..

I hope you all had a great Halloween, I had to work, and the kids are a bit to small.. but Maybe next year we celebrate it to... who knows ;)

I made some more pumpkins just in time... this almost needs to make room for the next Holiday Sinterklaas (Sint Nicolaas) and then Christmas, but first pumpkins, mushrooms and a leaf

Aren't they cute... next year I'm going to make more.. I love the patterns.. but maybe in the next weeks also... who knows ;)

Then started already on a Christmas felt craft
I'm not that satisfied with my cutting but that will change I hope... who knows ;P

At the moment it's Kreadoe the biggest hobby fair of the Netherlands.
Yesterday my MIL and I went to it..
We had a great day, we saw a LOT of great and new crafts techniqes, we where having so much fun with looking and talking about it that we didn't get the change to see it all or follow any workshop... So next year we are going back.
At the Kreadoe I also met Saskia and her lovely daughter Dominique.
and I made some gift for themI know saskia her badroom is purple, and Dominique, just got a new bedroom this week and it's red/blue/white and she loves owls, and when I saw this pattern on Ravelry I needed to make it for her. They both loved it so I'm happy ;):):):)
And I;m panning to make more... but who know's :P
I also bought/got lovely crafts from the fairI still didn't had a lamp hanging in my hallway (only a ugly lightbulb) I'm looking for THE lamp for years and I found it on the fair... a craft lamp... which I can change with my mood... lol. I have made pic's with the light on and off.. I can make it in 10 different shapes. I forgot the make a pic of the pieces, but it are 30 pieces... if you google Lampada Romantica you can see a lot of different piece, end with a differnt color lamp in it it will be a different lamp... I LOVE IT!!!!
Also you see a little pic of a box and a scissor.. The box are all kinds of shapes that I can use to decorate my cupcakes, and the scissor is for cutting felt... So I hope my next try will be better with this great new scissor..
Many new ideas, many new things I wanne try.. so who knows =))))

Then I've been making 2 memoboards.. but only have one on a pic.. Kira is sleeping and I forgot to make when when it was done (not completly :() But I have the one of Noah finally on a pic (but this one was done already a few months ago) ...lol
But last week we finally hang it up in his room You see it need a lot more crafts... but the start is there... see the cute little airplane.. lol... It was hanging on his lamp but it fell...
This memoboard still need buttons... But that will come with his time.. I'm loving it how it is now.. lol... Also for Kira I need to think about buttons (PINK)..
And I saw so many great patterns yesterday so .... who knows ;):)

another weekly update....and zoo-pic's

Posting cost a lot of time for me, because I need to translate it all, and thinking in English is a bit more difficult then in Dutch..lol ;)
So that's the reason that i'm not posting that often anymore. I still have a lot so show you.
I'm not sitting still...;):)

First my stitching pieces are as good as done..

* The owl FINISHED.... yeahhhhh...
* Santa Margaret Sherry FINISHED..... yyyeeaaahhhhh (need to stitch part 2 now)
* Christmas SAL part 2 FINISHED..... yeah =))))))))
Yes I'm good on track... I just got my next part in my mailbox.. So I can stitch it this weekend. I'm not picking up any new stitch pieces... I'm working on so many things right now, That I first need to finish most of it... so next weeks not much stitching update I think ( or I need to find some so CUTE =)))) )

My Pumpkin pie... is so cute... I couln't let it wait to long... So find some fabric and finished it off in to my FIRST Pin pillow I love it it's so cute.... (PS I'm crocheting orange pumpkins so no worry everthing is going to be white)

A few months back my SIL asked me to make her a playcloth, so she could give it to her best friend who was pregnant, last week she gave birth to a baby-girl, So I can show the picture hereDH loves it so much.. he wanted to keep it for Kira.. So I thought when Kira has a big bed I will make her a sheet or a plaid like this. ( more plans :(( )

Also this week we baked cupcakes.... A colleague of Dh had her B-day and also a colleague of mine.. so Noah and I started baking for them... because they wouldn't want a gift, and I can't come empty handed

Then today we went to the ZOO in Rotterdam... In the middle of the netherlands.. Together with a friend we had a great day This morning we had a lot of rain, but after 11.00 o clock it was dry and stay that way... teh whole afternoon we had sunshine and it was a great weather... we have seen a lot of animals... I made one cute and beautifull movie of a swimming turtle (the only one I made.. I forgot :(: ).. you need to see it
It's great... on teh back ground you hear al kinds of people talking.. but seeing that turtle is so beautifull

Santa only need to do back stitches...

So I'm doing great I think. All these pieces are so much fun to work on, and every time I see new things coming..
Tonight I don't have to work so will try to stitch some more

Then Last week a colleage of mine got married, and that needs a gift.
I made her thisTwo little dove's on a heart!

I also was looking in my closet for a nice dress... nothing... so I made one that I could wear on her party in the evening
That's me the day after...lol =))))
I love it... It's fitting so great... Need to find a few more fabric's... it's such a great dress to make!!

Then another cupcake baking has been here in the house.I just saw that the cookie jar is empty again... so we need to bake again..
These where so yummy.... Noah loves baking them...
And we like eating them =0

This week I've been doing al kinds of stuff.
Let we begin with my stitching pieces.
First my blue owl.
This is my job piece, I only stitch it at my work..now it's quiet, so I can stitch a bit, next week will be busy at my work, a lot of new patient will come, so not that much time to stitch..hihi ;)

I love the colors in it.... Noah his room will be so great when I finish ALL my things I wanne make... ( where can I BUY TIME???)

Then my October Margaret Sherry kitty

I hope to finish it by the end of the month.. I'm aleady looking for the fabric to finih it off.

I also have been crocheting. I way behind then my mind is... LOL ;) I wanne finished this 3 weeks ago, but I only started it last week

I wanne make a few more... and then look what to make for November on my table... Any Idea's???

Then I signed up for the KCWC: kids clothes week challenge, it started yesterday =)
It's the meaning that you sew, crochted, knit every day 1 hour to make clothes for your kids.
last year I was to busy being pregnant, and wasn't in the mood, but this year I enter it..
Noah fits his PJ I made last year still very good... but Kira doesn't have something so I'm going to sew her 2 night-gown..
this will be the pattern I'm using but with-out the bird

I hope to finish 2 of them... so more next week, not much too see yet

This week Noah wanted to make cupcakes again... and finally I didn't forgot the take pic's ( we bake them almost every week..lol)
I made a beautifull collage

Look at how beautifull Noah ( and a bit of me) made them... we put a brown circle on the cupcake and then Noah wanted a blue 8 on every one, and he decorated it with litter ( is that a good translating?)
Don't they look great on my etagere... ( THANK YOU SO MUCH STEFANIE, I STILL LOVE IT)

I've been a few days free, and Noah is getting more to school, Kira has her naps...=)))))
So I was a lot in a stitching mood, also last weekend it was very quiet on my job, not much patients to take care of, so brought my stitching with me..
This is how far I got ;):

Let's begin with the CrossStitcher Owl

He is progressing well... a lot of fun to stitch... every time choosing above my DMC colors which I will use ;) hihi

Then my cute little cupcake
I was missing the pink, but got it today, so in my next post this will be finished

Then on Margaret Sherry Lovers Blog there is beautifull Christmas SAL, and I needed to start it.... it's such a beautifull design. This is how far I gotI finished all the cross stitches, now only have to do the back stitches. It's so cute, and then part 2!

Then on a Dutch club where I'm member they also started a SAL... and I needed to make that one to... so darn cute, Not much progress, but I started it So many beautifull colors... It's stitched with Color Variations

Hihi If I haddn't enough piece I started also a halloween piece... The Margaret Sherry Pumpkin Pie
So Now I have enough pieces to keep me busy for a while.

Last week I orded a book to make dolls... DH was telling me a few weeks back that Kira only was playing with cars, and she is a girl, and girl play with dolls.. :):) LOL.
This book is so great I saw it many times, and finally bought it

The four above I love to try and make... Noah also wanted a doll... so he will get a boy's doll and many the train.

He are the two cutiesBoth where made this afternoon, I need to go in the back of the garden and Noah followed me on my heels..it was to funny.. so running to my camera sayng to Noah that he needed to wait..... and Kira, she just got out of bed so didn't do her hair yet.. I was chocked yesterday I have her this bottle and she put in up and dronk it empy... I didn't know what I saw!! ;):)

New start ;)

I have been stitching my cupcake but the progress is not much, more of it next time ;(
Last time I told you I started some thing new.
Here is the ;)

It's a owl from a CrossStitcher. I loved it so much I needed to stitch.
I'm stitching it togheter with Saskia, she is making it for her daughter. I'm stitching it for Noah on his bed, in his favorite color dark blue, a bit blue and green. It's on 20 count Evenweave, It's the first time I'm stitching on that big a fabric, but the fabric feels so soft, It's a blessing to stitch on it..=))))
It's need to be a pillow... there are also little owls in the magezine... but need to think about it if I will stitch them too ;))

A colleauge is going to get married in 5 weeks, when she saw my flower hair pins, she told me that her sister would love too have some for her daughters for the wedding, if it was possible in white and grey... So have been crochet them.
Yesterday gave them... now wait if she likes them

Noah is allergic for dogs, cats, horses... al kinds of animals..
But he loves animals so much so we decided to give him fishes..
He has 2 beautifull Silver Molly's

Looks all white.... perfect =))))
Noah named them Nemo and Demo..hihi ;)
Even DH loves them..hihihi
And Kira..hihi ... When I let her watch see sit still and don't know what see is watching... so fun to watch.

So that was my post for today.
As you can see on the pic below we have beautifull summer weather here in Europe, so I'm going to enjoy it while I still can

It has been a few days since I posted.. I have been very busy..
Last week I worked 6 days... normally I work 3 days... so that was a bit more then I'm used too =)))) But I survived, and had a great time as always..

First I have a picture of Noah his cakes that I made for his B-day

The blue cake on the right is a rainbow-cake... for many times I saw them in blogland.. And I so loved to see al that colors. I needed to make it.. On the other pic's you can see all the colors... It was so much fun to make it... It's a job but then you have something....
Then the Toy-story cake, but you all know that one.. It was my favorite... and more of that kinds of cakes will follow.. It a LOT of work... but so much fun.... need to save up the buy some more shapes to decorate... but that will come in the years..
Then the favorite of one for my MIL&SIL my apple-pie...It was almost up and the end of the party...hihi =)))))))

Then some craft news.. after making a lot for others it was time of making something for myself ;)
It fall time.. I have a lot of Fall-ideas...
but I singned up for a cupcake SAL that started 19th of September..hihihi..;) I finished it already.. I was the first who started and the first who finished it... I have seen this pattern a year ago and fell in love with it so when I saw the SAL I needed to make to make it fastI so love it.
I will finish it off in a pinkeep so more of it later

And at the moment I'm in love with cupcakes so I started another one..hihiNow it only filling... so easy stitch... This I will finish off in a little pillow...

These two pieces and some crochet cupcakes (that I still need to make) all togheter wil be so great I think..
But to finish it off.. I;m looking for some white fabric with cute little cupcakes on them, not to much cupcakes and not to big... But I only can find pink... Does anyone know a place where I can buy something that I'm looking for?? I can't find it yet

Then some kids update...I my lasts post not much kid talk... first a pichere you can see a lot... Noah is painting the attic (yes we started to renovate our attic), playing on the wii, playing outside and inside... he is such a sweet cute boy... LOVE HIM.
Then Kira... as you can see... she can stand... she also can walk around the table.... Just today see walked from the little table to the couch (one step between). She is eating everything... as you can see LOL .....=))))))))))) LOVE HER

This evening I started also a new piece... hihihi... more next time.... :):):)

NOAH 3 YEAR ;):)

Today is Noah's B-DAY ;):) He turned 3..
Where was the time he just was a little boy, lie still next to me on the couch .....
He is getting so big and is learning so much each day :O

Yesterday I baked a sugurpast cake, It was the first time What do you think??

This morning Noah whent to school, and treat on school, this is what I made for it For the girls 2 hair pins, for the boys the cars, and I made the teachers a cupcake and put a bag of tea with it..
They all liked it very much

Last night decorated the house.
The theme of this party is Toy Story :):) (I also wanted to stitch a Toy Story Pillow for Noah.... but didn;t got the time for it)
I made some Toy Story paper decoration

And this is Noah this morning with his gift and seeing the decoration

I'm still baking... a lot of blue... more in my next post!!!

garland and Noah's first B-day card

So here I am, still very busy... This week I'm going to pick pears for 3 more days, maybe also thursday, but don't now that yet, many cakes to make, And wanne make 2 cakes, that I never made before...lol
After Noah B-day I have more time to craft... I have a lot of new ideas... I saw some great craft on the web... so more to come

But for now I made a B-day Garland on commission, and they liked it... :):):)

The Boy had his 3th B-day and his mother asked me to made this... ( My first commission !! yeh yeh :):))
His brother will be 1 in January and she asked me to made another one for him... so this winter I make another one.

Then today Noah got a early B-day card, and so cute!!
This cards comes from the very talented Miek... so great Look at how a cute design she made for my little boy... It's hanging on my memoboard in my living, I put away DH's and my B-cards... so everyone can see it.

The fair :( :)

Hi Everyone,
Today was the day... the fair in my town =))), and my first time of selling my craft things...
Thank you all for giving so many compliments on teh things I make..
Also today I got a lot of compliments..
The only bad things was, they didn't buy anything :(:(:(
Everybody loved it, but not enough to buy it..
But I had a great day, did it together with a friend from town, who also made a bit the same.

BUT I had a great day, met many people, met a family member (I never met before, who lives 1 street apart from me, so soon need to go visit... and talk about, she is a great lady a niece from my grandfather who died 35 year ago..
Many people asked for my webshop so they could look... So I think I need to start one :):):)..
But not know... soon.
Here some pics

The sun was shining it was very hot... and that was great It has been long ago since we had sun... And tomorrow the bad weather is coming again... So I enjoyed it!
It was a great experience, I will do it again together with my friend..
Need to think of new things, who people do want to buy..

So that busy period is done, know to the next one..
Noah's B-day is in two week and anough needs to be done, also need to make two orders, 1 I got today and another one I need to make for a while and need to be finished in two weeks..
And also need to make b-day craft,....

This is what I'm making for give on hid school.

The kids are doing so great.. Noah was for a long time very tired, but that's over know... hope it will stay away to... in 4 weeks he is going 4 morning to school... He will love it.
Kira is also growing so fast, her hair is growing.
She can sit very good, also can crawl a bit to the front to the back, make cirles... So nothing is save anymore....hihihi.... Noah's playtoys are her favorite..hih ;)))
So need to look out with sewing... so not many needles to fall....

So I'm going to reply my mails and looking to a few blogs... haven't done that in a few days!!

More Fair things

I wanne thank everybody for there positieve comments on my fair craft...
It's so beautifull to read them.. ;):) I hope everybody at the fair also like what I make...

Here are the last balls and taggies.. I have now a total of 25 taggies and 20 balls...wow... I all made that...
Then something I made a while back for Kira... loved it so much so made 13 for the fair too

Noah is totally in love with the dark blue on, I found a pattern of a owl pillow, it's on my winter to-do list...hihi

This night I was busy on a new project for the fairThere almost done!!

This afternoon after pear picking (thank you all for giving such lovely dry weather..) Noah and I baked cupcakes.
I had some rolfondant left from my workshop a few weeks back... so we gave it another try... Noah loved it... ((I'm going to make him a B-day cake with rolfondant..:))here is Noah at work and our cupcakes

I've been stitching ;)

I have been so busy sewing that I really missed my stitching =))), so I started a little piece:Isn't Hello Kitty sweet;))

Then my sewing things...
From the moment the kids are in bed till the moment I go to bed, I sew non-stop..;))))And this is how far I got this week
Sewing this little play ribbon-blankets ( what a name... don't now another translation) is so much fun =))).... I love all those color... I already started a new bunch of them.

Then the fisrt 10 balls for the fair are done... the next 10 balls are a WIP..

Now I need to hurry ... :):)...... in 30 minutes I need to work, so hurry dress in my work clothes and get in teh car...

Sewing and Crochet

Ater a few post without carft pictures, now a post with only carft pic's.
First I made 10 cute baby balls for a order.
They are so much fun to make:

Tonight I finish another 10 I was working on, But they are for the next post

I'm also working on some little play cloths These are almost finished at this moment.

Then some crochet flowers hair clips:These are so much fun to make, I wanne make more.. every little girl, should have one in her hair:):)

And for the boy's I'm trying something out, my friend helped me with the pattern and this is what i made of itaren't they cute for boys???? ;)

All of these things I'm making, I'm making to sell. In 2 weeks we have a little fair here in our small town, and my friend ( who is in the organization) asked me If I would like it to sell some home made carft.... (it's a dream for me, that I hope some day will come true)... So I'm making some small things...
As DH is warning me about for some time now, I started to late, so the next 2 weeks I will be very busy... also I start pears picking next week for 4 weeks, and in 2 weeks I have vacation, and 2 days later is this fair.... So not so much time to blog, and a lot of time needed to craft...
So every evening I don't have to work...my sewing machine is working overtime, during the day I'm too busy with my lovely children, my home and garden, and also some pear picking.
Dh also has vacation, so when I'm pear picking he stay's with the kids.

If you wondering why I do that ( who takes vacation to pick pears... it must be a crazy girl. ... yes I am)..mmmmmm.... From I was a little girl I loved to be on a farm, In my teenage years a friend of mine lived on a farm and every summer holiday I worked at there farm. Then I went to a farm-school, but I didn't saw any future in there, so I decided to look for a cute farmer...... :(:( No luck there.
I started working in a nursinghome (what I still do with so much love), what is only indoors, and I love working outdoors too... at that time my neighbour found a farmer:( and he asked me if I would help him picking his orchard empty, and I like it very much. The next year my friend she told me she picked pears here in twon. I tryed it, and now 6 years later, I still love to do it... I do have a new boss since last year aor and still love it... So please let it be dry from next week for another 4 weeks........ Yes some of you have a lot of sun... Here in teh Netherlands we have a lot of rain, At the moment we have 2 dry days, but that will change this weekend

I know what your all are thinking.... hihi ;) I'm a bit crazy... I know...

Oops It's way past my bedtime, I'm going to sleep, have a great weekend

More B-day stuff

Last Wednesday it was really my B-day. =)
No visiters, but my MIL was here for the whole week, so we had a great day.
My dear and sweet DH needed to go to the car garage.. and I didn't understand it...
But when he got back ....hihihi.... I know why he wanted to go ;)))))))))Together with Noah he bought me a beautifull white orchid, a lot of flowers!! Thank you sweetie... I love you ;)

Then the mailman brought me a visit and I was so suprised Thank you so much Saskia, Nia, Mylene and Olga.
You girls made my day, also all the others who gave my B-day wishes in each way that is possible nowers days =))))))))))))
It really felt like my B-day, and haven't had that in a long time... Thank you so much.

This week with my MIL we followed a workshop decoration cakes together with a high tea... We had a wonderfull time Thank you MIL, we had a great day, a beautifull week, love you very much :)

Also went to a little beach here 5 min drive from, and made some beautifull pic's of the kids Not much craft stuff to show.. have been busy working, entertaining MIL (hihihi:):):)), so craft stuff in my next post...

All kinds of B-day stuff

As I told you we celebrated our both ur B-day last Saterday.
And I promissed you a pic of my lovely Indonesiom diner.... :( :( I forgot... sorry.... BUT I did made pic's of my cake's!!!

My new try Chocolate pie... (a recipe froma book DH :):) got for his birthday... and I'm also very glad with it)
A apple pie... my SIL and BIL who stayed the night eat it with to two of them.
And Christoffel pie - it's a pie made of meringues and whip-cream and then in the freezer, made 2 of them, DH loves them ;). I made a little collage of a few gifts: I love the Etagere (don't know the word in English - glass-plate) I see it in a few months with a lot of crochet cupcakes...hihi ;)

A while back I bought some new flowers for the garden: (White flowers and leafs....)
My garden is growing and growing... I love it!!!

On Wednesday it will be my B-day, but also from my nephew Gabriel who turns 1.
Today we celebrated his B-day and I made him a B-day garland

He is such a cute big boy!!!!
Today also arrived a package for my B-day from sweet Nia I didn't opend it yes...... oke I peeked a bit... Also you can see the last package I got from her...
Nia you spoil me TOOOOO much I item is missing on that pic, I put it a way for Noah, and now can't find it anymore!!
You see I ripped the package and I see a bit of pink... can't wait..... still 4 more days!!!

We have strange weather... sun-rain-sun-rain-rain-rain-sun-rain.. But I got some lovely pic's

While I'm typing this post, the chocolate cake is in the oven, so it smels so NICE :) here in the living...

Last monday I visit my dear friend Miek. She lives op north, and I had never been there... Ow so beautifulll is it where she lives..
I made her 2 presents

The crochet birds, is a pattern I made myself my looking to some other patterns, but it's still not how I have it in my mind. So I hope more try's will follow.
The pillow was so much fun to make.
She has a cute little dog Basso, so I needed to make a pillow of him.

And the sweetheart that she is she made and gave a lot of presents back, I just realized that a forgot some things for the photo, so I got even more beautifull thingsthen on the pic, a great crochet and knit book... hihihihi hahahah (who has a box of time for me????) Look at that cute outfit she made for Kira, and those socks for Noah and Kira... Also Noah got a heart with pimpampoentjes (ladybugs) as how he calls them

Looking throw the photo's I saw this little craft card I made for Nia a few weeks back.And just today a package arrived from her, but as you can she on some pictures I have now sun here so bad light for making pictures, hope I can make it next week.

A while back I made a trade with Pauline, and I got her beautifull craft book with window decorations... I started right away and this is what I made:SEE THE GREY SKY WE ARE HAVING

Tomorrow we are celebrating the B-day of DH and mine, DH had his birthday 2 weeks ago, and mine is in 2 weeks. Most of the family lives far away so we celebrate it together in the middle of our dates, mostly the last weekend of July. and every year we have rain :(:(:(:(
The last couple of weeks we had a lot of rain, and not many sunshines... I can count the moment of sun on my hands...lol...
Yesterday was a good day we had a few hours of sun.... today it was very grey

I have some stitching update's... my two bib's are done

Both where first birthday gifts, and my friends loved them ;p (thank goodness)

A while back (....stupid me forgot to post:(....) I got a lovely present of sweet little Dominique and hun mother Saskia.A nice scented soap decoration... at the moment they are totally hot here in the Netherlands. This one is handmade by them.
Dominique made a beautifull drawing for her mother... I was a bit jealous... and a few days later the postman brought me the same beautifull drawing.It's a gift certificate for EURO 10.20 to plend in a flower shop....
Thank you so much for these great presents..
A while back when I bought the great girlie dress Elodie and made the beautifull dress (below in the post) for the third birthday of my neighbor girl. I so love this pattern that I promissed to Dominique that she will get a dress from me.... So last week I started sewing and this is how it looks like!!I send it with the mail, and within 5 minutes the post brought she put the dress on and for a few hour she kept turning around and around, she so loved the dres =)))))))))) that made me smile.

So I'm ending this post with a pic that just was send from my friend off Noah. Made on the birthdat of her son
(that day he looked like a little Justin Bieber.. lol )

So today I'm posting here..
Mommy is busy in the kitchen baking a Indonesian layer cake and Noah is playing here with his train, so my turn to post :P
Today I'm 6 months old, I'm a big girl and love to laugh al day long :))))

Thank you all so much for helping me out with the eyes...I will draw soon some more, and show it!!

I have been stitching, here a update of cute Wall-E, finally I finished aLl the confetti stitches.. It's almost finished, only the name and finished it off!!

I started the next bib:Cute little miffy, the only problem is.... a lot of WHITE... I can't see it anymore..:):)

Last Wednesday Noah had his last day on school, the thema was beach, sea, sun... and the kids could dress up!
Look at my cute sailor boy One of the activities was painting faces, I had never done it, but because I was a helping mom needed to it, the first girl wanted to have hearts on her cheeks.... easy... but then a boy he wanted a lion...OW NO....but tryed something... And Noah also wanted to be a lion :)... but his favorite color is blue so I needed to make a blue lion...He has been rubed his face... so this is not how I made it..lol

Last week the youngest of my best friend turned 1 year, and soon he is getting a new room, so I made his first room frames.. This is the thema she wants to do

Since yesterday we have very hot weather!
After a long time of rain, it was very nice to have some outside days.
We put the swimmingpool on the grass, al the other stuff and water... We had such a great time, inside when it was raining Noah and I where backing or cuting paper.

The kids are smiling... Noah never wants to wear a swimshort so not many photo's I can put here of him in de pool... (I have a lot)

I have been working for Noah's school last week. I help with the activities, next week is the last schoolday and we are planing something great for the kids, My job was cutting 32 buckets in all kinds of colors.Also they found out I could sew, so they asked if I would wash and fix the doll-clothes and dressing clothes... So I did

The Hello Kitty was a surprise for Katrien, her baby girl turned 1 year yesterday, and it got there on time... yeh for the mailman This is how it look likes finished.. Love it... I'm starting to get a Hello Kitty lover!!

Then my Wall-EWall-E is progressing well... but I can tell you I'm NEVER gonna stitch this one again.. Wall-E is not that bit but has more then 30 colors... a lot of colors only needed 1,2,3,4,5 or 6 stitches... I tought I would get crazy!!!

I wanne make a logo for myself, to put on my blog, in my clothes... I'm working on it I was planning on showing it tonight but forgot to take pic's, and I have very bad light at the moment so that will be in my next post.

What I can show it cute pic's of a baby house sparrow. The poor thing fall of my roof, and could not fly high enough to get back.. I tryed and catch it, put in on a lower roof of my neighbour and it could get back to his parents..
Super mommy..... Noah loves the little bird!!
We have a lot of house sparrow's here.. Noah alsways try's to catch them... but they are to fast :)

It wasn't difficult to make the pattern and make the bolero, soon I have to make more clothes for Kira more bolero's will follow.
Last Saterday we had the party, I wanted to bring my camera allong but I forgot :(:(, also forgot th etake pic's of the clothes :P.
This are the best pic's I have

Kira with her beautifull dress and leggings, and she is wearing my selfmade shoes and bolero.
If you look good you can see a red crochet pin flower in her hair that I also made ;)
Noah with my selfmade trouser, blouse and tie. He was such a handsome man... My little dude!!! :)

Just on the last moment I thought to make a cute crochet flower in her hair. It looks so cute only it didn't survive the dayIt came loose and at the moment I don't know where it is, I think Noah throw it away because it's broken...
But now I have another virus... making those cute hair-clibs Perfect color of the pin with her clothes

The flowers are made with my new crochet threads.
Last month my vacation money came and as we don't go on vacation I gave myself a present and bought cotton threads, al the other things I have made where al made with acryl. Look at how beautifull my new colors look 46 colors... look at how beautifull.... I wanne make a flower pin in every color so she always can wear one with her clothes...
But I was looking to buy a lot of pins, I only could find one website and they are out of stock, They will mail me when it's back in stock... (I HOPE VERY VERY SOON)
The new threads are a bit smaller as i'm used to look at this pic But I love working with it...:)

On the party last Saterday on niece was pregnant so I made a little giftThey where very glad with it
And my SIL came with the big news that she is pregnant of nr. 3 ... so next January I hope to get a niece or nephew:):):)

Then my sitching update's They both are progressing well. And I'm so in love with Hello Kitty.... more will definitively follow...:):):):)

BTW Noah asked for a Wall-E pillow for on his bed.....;)

Bolero, trouwser, ballet shoes, stitching etc..

Thank you all so much with helping with the color for the bolero. :)
I choose white... when I read all your lovely comments I also thought it would be better.
But then I had the next problem, I could not find a pattern, surfed through the web, nothing:P
........I know I had a bolero, so I started drawing it

And this is the result:

If I can do it I will share the pattern with you, But that not that easy...lol

Evey girl/woman need shoes.. so Kira got her first sewed ballet shoes from me... She already has a lot of shoes (alsomost more then me..lol). I found this lovely pattern and started looking for fabric in the attic (really need to search.. it's a big mess there). But the result is so cute
Kira is ready for the party I think.

Started on NoahI'm making a trouwser, blouse and tie... He will be so handsome

I also done a little bit of stitching

At the moment we have a lot of rain so al the flowers and plants are growing goodI love my 3 white hydrangea in the pic on the right bellow..

Last year there where a lot of birth's... So this year a lot of first birthday's
Mostly I always make a bib for first birthday for f a few I have something other in my mind..
But here the first two starts of a bib!!

The first is for a little cute baby, and his father loves robots, So which robot is cuter dan Wall-E from Disney.

If you have never seen Wall-E you need to do it, also if your have no kids or your kids are big... It so fun to see:-)... When I heard off the movie, I tought is was a bad movie, but after looking too it for a few minutes I was melting!!!
But look at his cute face..........
The second black stitch will be a girlie girlie... Who don't love Hello Kitty!!!!
When Kira is a bit bigger she also will get Hello Kitty stitching and crochet pieces!!!:)

Then my Award, the lovely Buzzy-Bumblebee gave me this lovely award.

I can tell you the most important thing that they are healty
A boy and boy is great, a girl and a girl is great, a boy and a girl is also great.... But the greatest thing is that they are healty
And I hope they stay that way!!

* I have to many hobby's (read addictions). Just started crochte a few months ago and ow... where is the time to make all those lovely patterns..
Every night I need to choose what to do....
Is there potion, so I can divided me in four pieces and can do every thing every night????

* Behind every great women is a great man!!!they say :))
I have such a sweet boyfriend!!! I cal hem DH, but we aren't married, it's easier in writing;)
oops.... that's my big secret...lol.... no secret..

I don't now what I can tell you more... I have told you about the three (four) things I love the most in my life.

So there I'm again..;)
I have been busy needed to work almost every evening, and the evening I didn't need to work we went to friends!!
So not to much craft time, but every minute is one... so try to use them real good :)

In my last post I forgot to show you my beautifull cupcake...

At one off my clubs the have some thing new.. every week they show a cute pattern from al kinds of craft!!
And this was the first.. I really needed to make it... more will come when I got a bit more time...hihihi when will that be :P

Then I have a little update of my airplane:It's still not finished, and Noah asked me for a red one, So more will come......;)

Then I send a beautifull rose to a dear friendAnd for myself made also a few roses!! They look so great, but are a bit small, in the future will try and make bigger ones.

Then my little stitching update.
Found one of my DMC colors back so stitched the second bird!The last two threads I have just orded, hope to get them by the end of the week, Then i can finish the last few stitches.
I already have decided to finish it of with fabrics with little hearts;)

Cute little Noah knows I always make a picture when I finish something.
This afternoon he was playing with his playdoh, and he needed to mak a pic of it.When I was looking to my pic I found some I didn't made...hihi :), Noah made some on Kira when I was giving her some apple

We had a great long weekend with a lot of warm weather, icecreams, a big swimmingpool and a lot more..
owww before I forgot, 2 months back my little neigbor girl turned 3, but because of a lot of Holidays in the weekend they celebrated it yesterday. For her birthday I made the beautifull dress from the pattern Elodie from Collie-Collie.com

New project, gifts and more

Thank you all so much for the better wishes for Noah and Kira, they are better
Noah had for 5 days a fever of 40 degrees, I want to 3 docter's, only the third docter saw it was a laryngitis.
Thankfully Noah is better now.. he has been so very sick!!

But sitting on the couch with a sick child watching al kinds of Disney movies is so much fun.. and I can't watch a movie without having a craft in my hands :) so have made some starts of lovely projects...
First I'm making a little crochet airplane for Noah I just put it togehter, but is need a felted door and windows, so hopes next time to have a finished picute.
I wanne make more and hang them for his bedroom window.. He love airplane (and so many more boy stuff..lol), so I hope he will like it and sees it is a airplane.. at the moment it looks more like a bird..:)

For Kira i'm stitching this lovely piece and wanne make it in too a cushion for on her bed. It's a lovely freebie from vinniey from Sometimes I Stitch that you can find here. She makes and designs such beautifull pieces.. love all the colors she always using. It makes me happy to see them.

Then a project for me, I'm making flowers: I was missing a piece, and the mailman brought it today, so this week can make it further... but need to work 4 days in the evening... so not many craft time..lol

Then I have so many LOVELY AND SWEET blog friends...

Then little sweet girl Dominique made Noah such a beautifull card because he was sick. She is only 8 years old, but makes such pretty things. Look at your self Thank you so much Dominique.. We love it.. soon it will get a lovely place on Noah his room, now it's hanging in our living on the memoboard ;)

Then I'm making all kinds of secrets projects... I forgot a few bithdays.. yes I know bad Annette... But I'm getsing up..

Yesterday we went to our Indonsia friend, and she can't bake spekkoek (don't know the translation of that), but I can..hihi..lol... She can't understand that she can't do it and I can..lol It's so yummy.

I was without a camera for 2 weeks, but Dh fixed it, so made fast some pics of my garden flowers before they died.. I also made some lovely pics of my kids!! So this was my very long post... I promis to post more...hihi

Hi every-one..

I'm having a few small problems..:(

First of all I have a lot of problems with Blogger, they are working on it, so that will take some time, in the mean time I can't comment on any post.. So I way behind with my blog reading, haven't visit any in more then a week...
Hope the comment problem will be fixed soon.

Then I started working again last week... ow it's so great to be back in the working field;).
But this means that the evening while Noah and Kira are in bed I normally carft and visit blogs ARE OVER.... last week I have been working for 6 days (normally I work 3 days).
So not many carft time here..:)

Then I'm with out a camera... again Noah put the accu in his mounth and the accu died.
It's not water prouf LOL:)

Then a big thing. My kids both have been ill. Kira has been ill for 3 weeks but all beter now..
Noah started to get another fever Tursday. I gave him suppositories
Yesterday It was raising, so went to a docter. he got another antibiotic..
Today it's still raising whend back to the docter, and now I got another to lower the fewer...
Why he has a fever we don't know :(... his ears and longs are clean, he feels good, but is very ill of his high fever.

Hopes he's better soon.. the poor boy

Now I have a few days off so hope blogger is fixed soon and can comment on you lovely posts soon, have seen some lovely pics in my side bar

sewing/crochet gift and bag

Today is the second birthday of my Godson Adam.
Children grow to fast, he is already 2!!
My SIL asked for a few shorts
They have a horse and Adam loves her, and she is pregnant,so next year a baby horse!!
That´s why I also crochet a horse...my little cutie!!!
This is want I made:

I'm so proud about my crochet horse, foud the free pattern here We had a great day, it's always a little vacation because they live in Belgium

2 weeks back I made me a bag to put in all the stuff for the kids, as daipers bottles..etc but forgot to show it I found the tutorial here!!

This week the kids where ill and they are both still on the antibiotics, They still have a ugly cough and runny nose..

My cuties... both ill under a blanket on the couch!!
Tuesday school called that I could pike him up, he didn´t whant to do anything and only wanted to sit with the teacher, poor boy, but yesterday was feeling a lot better and had fun at school again...

Then a big thing... Kira is eating carrots...lol ...:)

She loves carrots... and it´s so funny too see her eat..

Last few weeks I have done a lot of crafting so taking a break for a few days... hope there will not be too many rain, So I can work some in the garden and cycle with the kids!!

Kira's blanket, Mothers day

We have been away for the weekend to my SIL, Noah played with his nephew Mika, and had a great weekend.
I maked a little collage of our weekend, It was very beautifull weather, we where the whole day outside

Yesterday was Mother's day here and also DH and I are 7 years togheter ;)!!
My SIL and I where spoiled with gifts that kids had made on school ;). Noah made me a beautifull make-up/jewellery box
And in the evening DH and I went out for dinner!!
We had a great weekend and Noah had a great time with his nephew, and Kira.... she smiled all day long, and saw so many people..lol :)

I have done a bit of crafting in the evening when al three of the kids where a sleepI love the colors... it's growing slowly, Kira loves looking at it!!

And when I got home, more plants where in bloom

I got RAK'd, finished chicken and fabric balls

So I'm sitting down.. the kids are in bed, I water the plants inside and outside, mop the floor, sorted out my pictures, so here starts my post ;)

First of all, I got such a lovely package with the mail.
Jane from Buttons & Stitches send me such a beautifull RAK :) !!!!!
It was a big suprise, it was a bit longer on his way to me then she hoped for.. but I got it!

One chcolate is missing it's in teh yellow tray, Noah got it before I saw it!!
She sended it the 15th of April, and I got it 2 days ago...
But just today I got a card in the mailbox, that my in-laws sended on the 12th of February from Mexico..
I think the mailman has problems finding my home...lol..

My crochet chicken is finally done .. It was such a great project to work on, next year with Easter it will shine om my table!!!
This weekend going to work a bit on Kira's blanket and them I think Monday will start on my new project!

Also did a bit of sewing. I sewed 10 fabric balls. I'm trying to improve them... It's working a bit lol :)

My plants in the garden are slowly coming in bloom, so made a picture of them. I'm so enjoying this time of the year.. we have a lot of sun, a bit windy, so you need a coat or sweater. And everything is getting in bloom, I'm getting not only green colors in my garden, but also red, pink, yellow..

In doors most of the plant colors are white and green, my favorite colors with plants.. Also made a collage of themAnd I just see I forgot a few plants, but they are only green one..

As you know Noah loves making photo's, When I just was looking throw my pics I saw a lot that where not made by me..hihi...
Most of the time I'm unaware that he's taking pics...
As I'm addicted to making collages, made one of Noah's pics

So my emailbox is full, so I'm going to try to get it empty!!

Queen's day

Today in the Netherlands it's Queen's day. We celebrate the birthday of the Queen.
In every Town/Village and City, they celebrate it with a parade, and play all kinds of games. Also the Queen and her family visit 2 towns, this your a City where my MIL and FIL live, they also sung in there choir for the queen. We watched it on the television... Noah love it to seeing his grandpa and grandma on tv.
Yesterday I decorated the handcart, and this morning we walked the parade, Kira's godmother went along.
At the end of the parade, we let up balloons with our adress, so when you get one of my kids there in America ....(hihi LOL) please send it back

My chicken is progressing slowly. I finished his body and one wing
So one more wing and plume to go

Last night I made a sun hat for Kira, so she could wear it today, it's a bit too BIG, but it's so cute!!

Yesterday we had a short storm..., and a few days off rain, but we also have a lot of sun:)
Inside and outside we had a lot off fun..and finally I got Noah drawing...At the moment my nieces, and Kira's godmother are here ... so I'm going to get further with the game Monopoly!!!

Our Easter Weekend

I finally found out how the make a collega...:)

A few weeks ago Noah and I made our house in Easter style, and so also a easter tree as you can see in the left below corner, On the other pics you can she what we all did!!

We had beatifull weather, a great time, we painted egg, Which I hide in the garden and Noah went looking for them, Noah en DH (yes yes) baked cookies. We played with water, sand everything..
Noah and Kira had the time of there life..
My little brother and his girlfriend came and played along..
To bad it's only 2 days Easter..

Today did all the Easter decoration away... see it next year again, and I hope to have more time to make Easter-crafts...

Very Long Post about vacation, craft, garden and kids

Last Monday we went away for a few days and yesterday evening we got back.
We went to Center Parcs 'De Vossemeren' in Belgium, such a great and lovely parc, with a lot to do for the kids. we went with my MIL, FIL, SIL, BIL and my two cute nephews.
We had the time of our life, we had beautifull weather above 20 degrees, the kids had so much fun.
Every day we went to the swimmingpool

Noah went for pony-riding We made a lot of walks, the parc is so beautifull, many playgrounds, a petting zoo. Also a few time went cycling
Every day the ducks and cheeps came to us to get some food.. They walk free on the parc.. so great for the kids!!

There also was a great place where the children could clim, slide etc.. to bad we dicoverd it the last day
We had a great time, to bad time fly's when your having fun!!!

Then I forgot to show this lovely card the daughter of Saskia made for me a while back. And when I got back I found this lovely present of her and her mother between my mail Saskia has a great blog, and at the moment she makes a lot of stitched pillow to give as a present, also she is making a beautifull SAL.

Then bewteen my mail I found a lovely package from Mylene, she is always to sweet!!
A lovely pinkeep, she always makes such beautifull things and the finishing so so great!!

A while back when I was surfing on the web I found this lovely cute crochet pattern and needed to make one. But he was feeling a bit along so made another one
Then I got addicted
The Monday we left I went fast to the mailmen and send them to my nephew and some blogger friends... I love doing that... So next time I will try and send some further then the Netherlands...

I hoped to finish my big chicking on vacation so It could find a place between my Easter decoration, but we where to busy, this is how far I get the last 2 weeksI'm still crocheting it.. I need to finish and next year it will be between my Easter decoration!!

Wen we went away not much green was there to see in the garden, but when we got back.. I got a warm welcome from my garden, lovely blossom, many green plant... Plant I thought died where green...

Between al the washing and cleaning today I did a bit of working in the garden .. it was such lovely weather 30 degrees.. I hope it wil stay this way... and I can enjoy my lovely garden.

Just before we went DH made me a wooden chest for the pillows of the garden furniture Thank you dear ... I love it!!

Today I got a present from my neighbor for Kira her room.. She made it her self

Now need to find a place on Kira her room, for this lovely gift.

This afternoon Kira got her first bottle of milk-powder, she loved it Dh has given her first bottle, in 3 weeks I need to go to work and I can't combinate my breastfeeding with work, So I have 3 weeks to get her on powder milk.. I think it wil get easy.. She loved it today.... I can't wait till Noah gives her the bottle.. he always love doing that with the children of friends

Yes, I have great news........... Kira's Pooh Birthsampler is finally done!!!!

Two days ago a friend found out I stitched a name wrong
So this morging I was frogging and frogging, and then stitched the right letters.

Tada...
Did it in the washing machine and hang it outside to dry in this lovely sunny weather

Tonight I ironed it

And then I framed it

I'm so glad my beautifull piece is finished... Now DH can hang it on her room..And We can enjoy it for many years.
I just dicided to crochet some pink flowers, hearts and butterfly's to decorate the frame.. but have to many projects right now, so it have to wait!!!

Sewing gifts and working in the garden

Another week gone by..
The time is going to fast, in about a month I need to go to work again :( :(...

On the first of April Noah's teacher has given birth to a baby girl. They asked if we wanted to give a present, and this is what Noah and I made:

The patterns of the little bal and owl are so fun to make... more will come slowly...hihi

Yesterday my oldest nephew turned 3... such a sweet boy. His mother had asked for a birthday garland... He was thrilled when he saw it! I got many compliments over how lovely it was. Then the suprise gift the overall for him and his grandma It was the best gift I could made.. his grandma was so glad with it, we started crying with the three of us.. LOL...:) It's still very lovely weather, so we walk with the handcart to school and to the store... This is how Kira looks when we do get Noah from school. Noah was helping DH with the sand and he loved it... Kira was sitting in the handcart again..lol The garden is getting greener and greener and my first flowers are coming in bloom. Here my first pics of plants in bloom.. the white one I bought this week So I bought the frame for Kira's birthsampler Satherday, so need to get stitching... it's still not finished I wanna thank everyone for visiting my blog and especially everyone who leaves a comment!! gaat morgeI love reading them!!

The birthsampler is progressing well. I choose two lovely pink colors, for the name and weight/height and birth-date. It's not done yet, need to stitch the Christians names and I think some more leaves. But I think to finish it this month (FINALLY).. This week is my step-mothers birtday, so Noah made a drawing and I made another card The garland is finished, but after I have given it to the birthday boy I will post it on my blog.. I do have a photo to show, I started a secret gift.

My SIL told me last week dat her mother (his grandma) also wanted a overall that I made for him last December.. but it was a joke... hihi I started it anyway and finished the back (translation -> Grandma's sidekick)

Need to finish it before this weekend, so tonight when Noah and Kira are sleeping, my sewing machine is making overtime Then I made this piece

Last week I went to a funeral of a boy that only was 1,5 years old, from a former friend, and they asked to bring something personal for him. They sad that he was a butterfly now and is free , so I made a little bleu butterfly with his name on it. Pooh is finished...:) Finally all the green is done, and the black backstitches!! I love it. I already found the lettertype to do Kira her name... but first I have some birthday project so pooh need to wait a week!! Here is my first project: A birthday garlad for my nephew! I have been crocheting some squares for Kira's blanket They are so fun to do... but haven't done anything on my chicken.. so need to crochet a bit on him... I have made a paper card again.. it;s so long ago that I made one. Someone at a forum had a surgery, so that need a lovely card I still bake cookies with Noah every Sunday..(mostly when I think of making a picture they are gone...hihi) it's so much fun, or a cake. But last Sunday we did a lot more look and mmmmmmm mmmm. so much yummy... My cuties!! I wanna thank everyone for visiting my blog and especially everyone who leaves a comment!!I love reading them!!

And when I opend the box, this beauty came out of it:

I'm not lost or on vacation, but didn't give myself the time to post, other things where to much more important to do :).
But I havn't sat still, so here comes my work!!

First the cute little frog, it was a suprise for Mylene, to cheer her up.

She has some beautifull pictures of it on her blog!!
She always make such beautifull things, and I love having her as a blogfriend.
She has send me many lovely gift with such beautifull finishes, mostly with beads.
So I wanna try to do it too.
For a first time it isn't bad!!

Back in January I was working on a little piece for a quilt als a cheer up for someone with a very sick husband.
She recieved the quilt and this is my part in it

(I did not made this quilt only the stitching piece) I so love how they finsihed it up as a quilt.
She was totally in love with it, and send me a beautifull gift to say thank you (forgot to take a picture). At the moment is going very good with her husband thankfully

My beautifull granny blanket is progressing slowly, but I love it. A picture of the front and the back=)
So now make 3 more squares of 16 granny's together and it's done for now I think.
But it's going aside because I found something beautifull to make on this blog. Went looking for the pattern in the magazine and this is my start of the chicken so far Not much yet,but hope to finish it before Easter!!

New start finished, progress and granny's

I wanted to stitch something small, so taked a good look in my stash and found this cute little frog from Margaret SherryI stitched it in two evenings, and love the cutie.

Also have a progress update from my Pooh Birthsampler:Pooh is getting there.... with a lot of green (6 diffent colors) and the black backstitches

I wasn't satisfied about my first two granny that I made from here. At the blog from Bunny Mummy I saw such beautifull granny's, so looked through here blog to find how she made them and found it. So with the help of that link here is my new granny next to the old oneYou see the diffents in the piece, I love my new one so much!!!

But what will I make of them.
When I was pregnant of Noah, I decided to make the room green, I've he was a girl wanted to do pink with green, and for boy green with blue, like his room is now getting slowly...
I also wanted a green knitted blanket, but had to much pain in my shoulders, so asked a previous patient with who I still have contact if she wanted to knit one for me. She was happy to do, and look at here little Kira has it on her bed now But I decided to do here room in rood/pink, so need a new blanket, I'm not that good in knitting, and with my crochet addicting I like to crochted one, So the granny's need to be made in a BIG blanke.
At the blog from Attic24 (who makes such beautifull crochets blankets and other pieces) I found a way to put the granny's together as you go, as they call it!!
And look at what I made so far: In my beautifull new tree, my neighbor wanted it gone from his garden And I so love it, always full with birds and beautifull blossom, so I asked I've may get it, and now it's standing very beautifull, and the birds are also coming to my garden now...
The last two day's it was such beautifull weather, I've been working in the garden , it's done now, now need to get rit of al the weed between my stones!

Noah loves to make pictures with the camera, mostly they are from the ceiling, couch or my legs, but this week he made a few of Kira and I love them so much, here i have one for you Made by my lovely boy!!!

finishes, progress and new start!!

Let's begin with the stitching pieces!!

BUMBA IS FINALLY TOTALLY FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so glad, I was getting tired of it I love the colors
It's hanging on a clothes hanger in my livingroom, so everyone can see it.
I need to make a pillow of it for on Noah's bed, but still thining what color fabric I will use!

Then a little update on Pooh: I'm seeing green, and it's very boring!! So need to look which WIP I'm going to do together with it... but the end is in sight!

Then my second finish is with crochet, the garland and it's hanging beautifull in my living!!, even DH likes it: You see a bit of Bumba hanging, in the middle of the room?
It's hard to get it right on photo because of the reflection of the glass. I love it, and it will hang there for a long time I think... maybe in the summer make some flower for on it!!

Then I made my first and second granny.
Both are testing pieces..
There are a few mistakes in them, but that why it's was a test..hihi I like the colors.
Tomorrow i will try and make a new piece, this time need to try to do it right so it wil no longer be a testing piece :).

Then I got 2 weeks back a beautifull crochet gift for Noah and Kira from Miek: Love the pink poodle.

Yesterday another package arrived, this time from England from Lainey: All kinds of lovely patterns, gifts for Noah and Kira and beautifull cards!

Last week I orded a sewing pattern at Farbenmix in Germany.
It's designed by Collie-Collie.com last year, and I so fell in love with it.
And it also was big fabric-market (we have that 2 times a year here) and bought some lovely girly-girly fabric The dress is still a bit to big for Kira, so first try will be for my neighbor girl, she is turning 3 in April, and I wanna make a birthday-dress for her, The fabric to the right with the lovely PINK butterflies and flowers on them will be the fabric. First need to know her size and then going to make it at the end of March. But my nephew 3th birthday is sooner, so first need to make his gift, his mother asked for a birthday gardland like the one I make for my other nephew Adam.

Finally at the and of the post, look at how sweet!!

It was a busy week, we went to my work and to DH's work with Noah en Kira, still we have people coming over too see Kira. Not many people wanted to come in the first week, only for the best for Noah.. it was to busy for him that first week after Kira was born,.

Because of the busy week I haven't done much, only stitched on Bumba.
And finally his dress is done!! Jippie
(Noah was driving with his fire-truck..hihi)

Now only need to do the smaller part, hope to finish it soon.

I have done a bit of crochet.
My garland looks now more on a garland. Just finished another piece, so tomorrow attach in on the garland.
I think I need to make still about 10 more... so it's not finished yet!

This week when we where walking I picked some Forsythia, outside it's to cold so not yet in bloom, but inside it nice and warm, and it's blooming
And to finish this post my beautifull kids!!

I wanna wish everyone a lovely Valentine's day with friends and family

I made a special dinner for us, with as dessert chocolate mousse... DH loved it !!!LOL

I´m trying to do a bit of al my craft every week, this week I did it!!
First my stitching update:
The tree is done on the birth sampler, the only thing that's left is all the leafs..

A little girl must have cute hairbands..

It was so fun to make.. when she is a bit older I wanne make new one's with a bigger beautifull fabric flower on them!!!
They look so cute on her with her beautifull hair..

Also have done a bit of crochet...
Two more pieces for the garland are done.. I decided to make a garland with only these crochet pieces... maybe in the futher make one with different pieces.

Stitching update and a new crochet project!

I finally have decided what to use for color for the leafs on my birth sampler.. So here is my progress:The tree is als good as done...only a few flowers and leafs on the bottom
I so like the tree...

Because the birthsampler is so many counting and little stitches, I got out a WIP from last year with easy big color pieces!

Them my new crochet project..
I have a beautifull sideboard... And a few weeks back I saw a pictures on a blog of someone who had made a garland and hang it on the side board.. I so loved it, it's in my head all the time... how to make it from what to make it.
I have now the idea of making a garland from al my crafts.. so felt-crochet-stitching-sewing...
I made my first 2 pieces for the garland with crochet... And I like it so much.. maybe I'm going to make a garland with only crochet pieces..hihi... still thinking it out
(also a lovely idea for a bikini....hihi)

But more of this project later!!

pink sewing, green stitch!

I haven't done much but I have done a bit of sewing!!
Looking on the web I found a cute tutorial for my little girl.
This is what I made of it: I'm going to make more of these... They are also lovely to give as a present!!

I'm starting to stitch a LOT of green, here is a little progress of it Hope to finished it soon, wanna hang it up in Kira's room.

In the beginning of January I promissed a better pictures of the felted ice-crystals. Next year I wanna make more, and some felted mittens to hang up with them... so next year more of this....

My February flatfold is almost done, only need to ad the ribbon.

I wanna thank everyone for there lovely comment on the beautifull pictures of Kira... She is such a sweetie, I enjoy watching her every minute of the day!!!!

In my previous post I mentioned the finished Lizzie Kate August stamp

Also started on the September stamp.

On this post of Nia's blog, I got so inspired, so googled a few ice crystals patterns and got my felt and started cutting.
I made a pictures of them hanging in the branches above my table, but it's hard to make a pictures of it (I have made eleven so far), I will make a picture of it when I put something new in it!!
But what will I do for February.... any inspriration will be welcome...I wanna do some thing with heart, but what??

Remember my lovely orchid.. I just made a picture of it!! On the day Kira was born the first flower came to bloom, en yesterday the second one.
I hope the rest will hurry up!!!

We got so many beautifull gift for the birth of Kira, lovely dresses, other beautifull outfits and stuff
And I was so surprised of the gifts I got from bloggers!!!
This lovely thing I got from a stitching friend, I got her addicted to crochet too, so she is making me very curious with sending me blurry pictures of what she is crocheting for Kira This I got from Saskia

From my Belgium SIL he got Play-Doh, and loves playing with it!!
We play with it everyday!!

Thank you all so much for your lovely words, I love reading them, and there are so many of them, It made me blush when I opened my mailbox!!
Kira and I are doing great, I'm still only resting and feeding her, and she grows so fast. I hope I feel better soon, I wanna go outside, walk with her and Noah.
Noah is so sweet to her, kisses, hugs and wants to hold her!!!

Finally in PINK!!!!!
Look at how cute she is, and how big already.
At birth she was 3.680 gram, and 51 cm, for me a small baby, because Noah was 4.240 and 53,5 cm. But ow so cute and beautifull...

Before I gave birth I finished my Lizzie Kate August, and made some felted ice crystals, I hope to make a picture this week, and when I'm not that tired anymore hope to start crafting, making dresses, new clothes for Noah, decoration for the house- Noah's room and Kira's room (pink pink pink.....) and so much more...
I still have free from work till 15 May, so many time to craft and enjoy the kids.
At the moment DH is also free for a few weeks, so we are enjoying are new family a lot..

Hi every-one,

The waiting is finished, last night at 3.46 I gave birth to a beautifull baby girl Kira!! Here she was just born, and already in the arms of her daddy.
She is doing great and drinking and sleeping good!!
I'm taking as many rest as I can... So for a while not most to show here!!
Little Noah is so proud of his little sister and whants to play with her and lift her up!! He is a happy big brother..

The scissor is already in use, and cutes so great, I never had such a beautifull scissor.
The Christmas piece she stitch is beautifull, I think I'm going to make a pillow of it before Christmas, I'm stil thinking!!
The pinchusion also so beautifull made.
And when I opend the box, I was blown away, Al kinds of beautifull little things like the 'made with love' charms.. it's funny but for quiet time I was looking for those here in the Netherlands, but could not fine them, en now I got a lot of the.

So I haven't stitch much because of the pain in my hands but there is a little progress to see: Also I have been working with paper. Noah loves counting and learning about colors, so made him a color train on his wardrobe, with a funny elefant, bear and ape!
Every night before going to bed, we practice the colors and count the ten trains.. I'm still waiting till the baby is coming, yesterdag the doctor wanted that I went for a checkup in the hospital (normaly I don't have my pregnancy appointment in the hospital our local doctor does them) because I don't feel the baby a lot, after more then two ours we went home everything is alright. I can come back when I still don't feel al lot of moving. But since we went to the hospital I think the baby is afraid because it kicks more!!
I'm still sitting and lying a lot, but can't always craft sooo not many post will come.....

So my contraction are gone thankfully, I can do a bit more.
I have done a few stitches on my Lizzie Kate SAL. July is finished and made a start on August: Also have finished my secret piece, it's finished and on mail. When the quilt is done I show a pictures.

My beautifull crochet piece the candle basket is also done.. I so love how it looks like:
So romantic.... every night we light the candles!!

I'm also have been working on a gift for Noah to treat on his school for when I GIVE birth:
It's a paperbasket with his photo on it, on one side the other side Hurray!! I'm a big brother. In it I will put raisins with the name of the baby, that's the blue and pink papers... oooo on the pink I saw the name, sorry still a surprise for maybe a few more weeks!!!!!

Today put away all my last Christmas decoration (not much was there more...). And put my beautifull table-cloth on the table, a few years back I got this for my B-day from a good friend who bought it in Spain.. It totally handmade and I love it so much.
I always have a plastic table-cloth above it, but is was full with holes, from Noah en my crafting, so DH bought a new one and my beautifull cloth is protected again..
We both so love it, and it's white so perfect for my new decoration!!
Also got my beautifull orchid from behind the curtain on the table. It was dead for a year but last week when I looked there where all new flower buds, can't wait to see it with beautifull flowers again. White flowers!!!
Some of you will know I work in a nursinghome. Many years ago we had a women with al kinds of beautifull orchids on her room and everytime I needed to help her I talked about that I so love them. When she past away her husband came to me and brought me to her room, he and his wife had decided that I was the first to choose a flower to take home, because of that I loved them so much, I choose this beautifull one. Now it will give me flowers for the tirth time... can't wait to see them...

First, I wanna thank everyone for there lovely comment on my last post about our grandfather passing away. It meant the world to me to read them!!!

I wanna wish everyone a happy new year.. Hopefully no-one gots hurt!!
It's going to be a new year with new changes and a new challenge, and hopefully a healty little baby.
Last year I made goals, but didn't make them all..
This year my goal is FINISH WHAT I START!!
I need to finish everything I started last year so:
* Lizzie Kate SAL
* Birth sampler
* Panda Days
* Bumba
* And make growth chart for the baby
And for the rest sew, crochet and stitch as much as I can..

I still have a lot of contractions so need to take it easy, but I can sit still so need to craft or blog..hihi
On 31th of Dec my easy-sitting work was baking, I baked a lot with the help of DH.

This is typically Dutch what we eat on New Year's Eve : oliebollen and appelbeignets (fritters)
And they where all yummy...

I don't wanted to go outside with Noah because in the street there where a lot of boys playing with fireworks, so DH set off some firework in the backyard and I putted Noah in the window-legde

Then the crafting I did.. Today I started stitching again... I so lost my stitching mojo, but is getting back piece by piece.
I stitch a bit on my secret project and on the birthsampler: I doubt a lot about this piece, but I'm going to stitch it and when it done I will see what I'm going to do with it!

Then do you remember my January Lizzie Kate Piece...no... here is it finished of in a flatfold
Only need to attach the buttons, found a website where I can order them, so when I know with colors I need then I order them... I'm very pleased with the result.
For the ones who also wanna make a flatfold I always use this tutorial!!

Then I say my new year plans are finish what I started, in my last post I showed a crochet piece of the candle light and sad to make another, then I need to start another before crochet something else.. yesterday I started itAnd today did a bit more crochet on it Also have done a bit of other crafting with wol, I made pompom's. A while back when I was googleling I saw a beautifull pictures but can't find it anymore, but still knows how it looks like and trying to make it too
I so love how they look like!!
See the cute bear, I found it a while back on the attic, I made it many years ago.

My new decoration color in house is white as you can see in my last few posts... and still have a lot of new ideas to make of all kinds of beautifull white things... So more is coming.
For many years I loved white, but everytime still used colors, but from now off it's al going to be white!!

Before I forgot I got a email today that I won the give-away from Patty, can't wait to see the beautifull piece see made for me!!

We had a sad Christmas!!

It's wasn't really the Christmas we where hoping for!
The morning of the 24th we got a call that our grandfather had past away.
The last few weeks he was getting sicker, but the last few days before Christmas it when very bad with him, we thought he would make Christmas, but it wend a bit faster.
He past away in his sleep, so he didn't had any pain, thankfully.
DH and grandfather had a special relation, so it's very hard on him.
Grandfather turned 93 this past summer, and still living on his one...He was a wonderfull men and we will mis him just like we mis grandmother (who past away last year!!
Also Noah was very ill the whole Christmas, he had a high fever and a ugly cough

Yesterday we had the cremation of grandfather, it was a very beautifull ceremonie.
It's so strange that there now both gone!!
It was a lot of walking for me at the cremation, last night and today it's not going that well with me I have a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions (harde buiken).. so I'm doing nothing today..

The whole week I haven't done a lot of crafting. I only have done a bit of crochet. Before Christmas I started a piece and today I finished it. I saw something like it on a blog, but could not finds a pattern, so was trying something and it worked! I've put a glass yar in it, with around it a piece of paper where I've cute out some hearts. I really love it, so I'm going to make another one!

Different pieces and Merry Christmas

I'm working on a new small stitch project, I was forgotten about it, it needs to be done in January so need to stitch it up.. I can show what I'm making, so I have tryed to make the photo blurry, it's not how I wanted it but you can see what it is!!
When it's at the owner, I will show it, and that will that a while someone is going to make something off it.....hihi mystery.

My package to a dear stitching friend has arrived The pattern is so cute but the finishing off not that good, the ribbon not that nice on the ornie.. but the reciever likes it... but I need to practise a lot on it...

About bluury pictures I have another one... For quiet some while now I'm working on a pattern, at the moment I almost have finished 1 piece, but I'm out of stuffing so it's need to wait a bit longer... but this is what I can show you:

Then we had the stitching and the sewing... now for the crochet part.
The big egg has a little friend a little chick with a upper and bottom egg-shell. The chick only need some eyes, but also I'm out of glue too.My crochet book is full of lovely amigurumi's (what a word!!) and love the white color so finished another piece:
Because I made it in white it's a bit hard to see what it is, but Noah saw it at ones... I'm not satified with the face.. The face on the egg is not good for the opcoming baby so tryed to make ons with french knots... but I need to try some more..
Can anybody see what it is???

For a few years I hoping on a White Christmas... I love white... and every year the snow is gone before Christmas or/and is falling after Christmas... at the moment we still have snow but for two days it's melting... I need to be ther for 2 more days... PLEASE give me a White Christmas!!!!!!!!

All kinds of craft pieces.... (Crochet!!!)

The snowmen of fabric has a friend, a snowmen of snow!!!
Last Thursday in the evening it started snowing... Yes we have snow...
Friday we had a lot of snow.... Last night there was totally fallen 15 cm (5.9 inches)That is so much for here... We never have so much snow... And I love it, so does DH and Noah.....
The little snowmen is moved to the front window... And I finished his broom! You see my lovely white poinsettia... I so love these flowers with Christmas..

Rudolph the red nose reindeer, who doesn't know him... he is so cute and Tilda had made a cute pattern of a reindeer. Last year the pattern was in a Dutch sewing magazine... I so love it, so this week looked it up and made it.
It's a normal reindeer, but I so love cute Rudolph, so gave him a red nose!!

This week a package arrivedLook at what a dear stitching friend had send me, a beautifull felted Christmas tree, with a cinnamon as trunk!! Thank you so much, it smells so nice!!!

The cold winter is coming and I found a pattern of a hooded scarf. It could be made in two versions, The first version I made was much to small.. So that will be for the baby, the second version is to big, but Noah will be warm and can wear it till he is 18...hihi Blue fleece on the outside white fleece in the inside...
The mittens Noah has are knitted, but every time he play's in the snow they get wet and het gets cold fingers, so this week also wanne make fleece mittens

Then last night (yes finally) I have crochet (It has been 15 years ago..) It was a lot of practice, but finally after a try of 10 I could do it.
This is my testpiece Then I watched in my crochet book I got for my B-day this summer and saw this lovely pattern of a egg With a few mistakes in it, is this my egg lying in my Christmas gift from my work I also wanne try the other three pieces, nice for Easter.
I have been looking on Google and found a lot of beautifull pattern to make, so more of this will come!!
Ow NO another addiction!!!!

Today it was the meaning to go to the Efteling, but because all the snow, the most of the family didn't wanted to drive.
So this morning we baked Christmas cookies And this afternoon we played outside in the snow (we... DH and Noah... It's not possible for me anymore...hihi) We went to my father and later on to the dike, to slide off the dike.. The boys had so much fun!!!

Snowmen without snow..how

We had snow for a day of 3 a 4, and for the past week NO snow at all....
So when you want to make a snowmen, but you don't have snow, you make one out of fabric...
In a very old Dutch sewing magazine there was a pattern of a cute snowmen

I need to finish his hat and broom, and then it ready..

I have done a bit of stitchingIt's a cute little snowmen.

My neighbour girl her birthday was a week before Noah, I promised her a gift, but didn't know what, But this week I know it.
A memoboard!!
I put some pictures in it of her and Noah.
She and her mother loved it!!

Yesterday we when to the Intratuin, It's a garden center.. I go there ones a year just before Christmas before of all the beautifull decoration!!!

The polarbear and seals moved!!
I was very glad to be back home, so I could lie done on the chair!!

We also baked some honey cookies this week.

So I'm off for my doctors appointment, till next time

Noah's car play mat

Friday on Noah's school Sinterklaas came to bring gifts to the kids, because i'm in the activities committee, I schoot the photo, luckely I brought my own camera, here is a picture of Noah on school (it was the first times I stayed longer):

I put Noah in his Pieten outfit.. more children had them on.

Yesterdag we celebrated Sinterklaas with my father's family.
We did surprises (when children are a bit bigger, and don't believe in Sinterklaas anymore we make a funny thing and put a gift in it, we don't know who makes something for who..) I had my niece who playes fieldhockey so made her a hockey-stick
Today we celebrated it with the three (and a half.) of us.
We started with playing with the gifts he got yesterday, watched a Sinterklaas movie, then Noah whent upstairs with DH and I put his gifts on the table, and knocked on the window door. Called Noah and said Sinterklaas and the Pieten where in the house, and the left presents for him..
He loves unwrapping gifts

He got the car play mat and some little cars... he loved the cars...

I'm not totally satisfied with it, it's not that straight sewn, and the fleece is curl on the edges..
But Noah likes it, it's my village in small, our friend who live here are on the mat, his school, our house, the mill, playground, train station etc etc..
After playing, I baked French Toast, but Noah did not liked it (he is a bit ill has a fever), then after a while we baked taai taai poppen, it's a traditional yummy with Sinterklaas

While they where in the oven, we watched the second Sinterklaas movie.
During the movie the cookies where done.. yummy..
For diner I baked pancakes, Noah loved it..
We played a bit with his car and we song to Sinterklaas, and then it was time for Noah to go to bed...
He had a fun day, I removed al the Sinterklaas decoration, tomorrow he is going 'home'. And then we can decorated for Christmas...

Stitching and sewing

First Noah is sitting on gymnastics since a couple of weeks, and every time I forgot my camera, but last Saterday I finally brought it with me: Look at the cute boy...Next year the classes are starting again.

The birthsampler is progressing slowly, but look behind the tree!! Because of the large project I'm working on, Yes for me a sampler, the Lizzie kate SAL and the Halloween SAL are large projects, so now and then it's fun to stitch something small.
Last week Sharon from Daffycat, made a beautifull freebie. And I stitched it up in a hour, it's so fun to stitch, so pick up your needles and stitch it too!!! This weekend I gave the Overalls to my nephews, and they loved it, and the mother and fathers too!!
Look at how they look like:

The first one is for my Godchild Adam, his father just started his own veterinary practice, what's more fun the walk with the logo of your father practice on your back while playing and helping.
In de middle is the one for Noah.
To the right is the one for Mika, last year I made him a Bob the Builder jumpsuit, but it's to smaal to cute off the Bob and sewed it on this new Overall.
I'm so glad they are being liked, It was very fun for me too make.

Then I promised you a picture of Noah's car play mat. It's going the good way.
I only hope I can finish it on time before next Sunday
As you look good you can see Noah is already playing on it!!!
You can see the roads and railroad, maybe a new piece of road is coming but don't now yet, First need to finish the railroad!!

That's all I have to show for today.
I'm going stop, because my Serie Grey's Anatomy is on television!!

I have stitched again and finished something!!!

Have you seen the new photo above... Noah with three Zwarte Pieten, Noah is afraid of them, see his lip..But he was brave enough to go on the picture with them...

This week I have been able to stitch again, and have made a progress on two pieces.
And one pieces is finally finished!!!!
Yes the Halloween Sal from Helga Mandl is finished...I love it and next year I wanne try to make a pillow of it..

I so love how the outcome is on my self dryed fabric!!!

The next progress is on the birtsamplerThe next one is coming out... more I hope in my next post.

Then my sewing pieces
The other two Overall are progressing wel On the back of both overalls is a surprise but I can't show it yet
My lockmachine is broken, but I can still work with it, last night the repairman should have come to pick it up, but he never came.....so when I do a bit slower and by hand on the side it's getting there. I hope I can finish them today.
So I can start on Noah his Sinterklaas gift.. I wanne make it by my self.
I'm going to try to make something like this.
And make our village in small, and it show's where Noah's school is and where his family and friends live... But I hope I can make it. So wait and see.......
